This was a last minute booking and being pet-friendly was a must, so I wasn't looking for or expecting perfection. The pictures are VERY deceiving...it was filthy!! The home has not been well cared for at all and it looked like the only people who had rented were college kids that threw major parties. The carpet was disgusting (to the point of instructing the kids to never walk around barefoot), multiple cracks/holes in the drywall and ceiling, black scum outlining the shower tile, paint scuffed off and peeling multiple places, and the icing on the cake was a dead roach in the kitchen. The saddest part is that the house has so much potential if someone was paying attention and fixing things along the way. Even new carpet and a fresh coat of paint would instantly improve the home 50%. I have never had a bad experience with VRBO nor am I the type to write poor reviews, but our stay was so subpar I would feel bad not saying something and letting another family have the same disappointing experience that we had.
