We had an amazing stay! The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable, everything felt fresh and well cared for. You can tell attention to detail is a priority here.The only minor issue we experienced was that the top electrical outlets by the nightstands in both rooms weren’t working, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Also, while we understand this is outside of property management’s control, the shuttle bus was not operating during our stay.Overall, we truly enjoyed our time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great place

We loved the property and amenities so much we added and extra night to our trip. My daughter turned 3 on our stay and she had a blast in the pool and splash pad. We love that it’s adult and kid friendly. We will definitely be back!

Return to Destin 2023

We had a wonderful time at the Palms of Destin. The condo was very nicely appointed, and comfortable. The hostess was terrific and easy to work with. We loved the fitness room and the bar was also fun

Like a Hawaii Resort

The grounds and the pool layout was just beautiful. My mom went and she constantly said this place reminded her of when she went to Hawaii. The heated pool and hot tub were a hit because regular water temp was a bit cold. My 7 yr old still got in the giant non heated pool with other kids. The beds were very comfortable and we loved looking out both balconys. Kitchen was just right, the smart tvs were a hit as well in every room. The grill, bar, and coffee shop were very good and staff was very friendly. Only complaint (and it wasn't a deal breaker) was the busy highway to get to the beach. One day we decided to call the shuttle.... The guy was kinda rude so we just said we will just drive. The location is right in the heart of Destin and convenient to all shopping and restraunts. The tenis courts were in great shape as well, and had lights for night play! We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back here again.

Nice location and condo. Weather not as cooperative during first week- too cool for pool.

Suggestions: need written info on use of TVs…3 sets - 3 remotes for each! Lots of issues getting them to turn on and use guide or change channels. Need safety bars in bathrooms - walk in shower and tub shower…for senior travelers it’s a bit scary not to have. Good to have small step stool as hard to reach upper cabinets! Also can’t see dial on clothes dryer! Resort fee of $30 per day is way overpriced for 2 of us - coffee shop not open due to remodeling, as mentioned the weather prevented use of outside pools etc. Understand charge for parking but should have tiered rate based on usage! We didn’t use tennis courts or play yard at all.

There was both good and bad

Overall the stay was nice. Our teens enjoyed that the pool stayed open until 11 and they could have some freedom. The unit was not quite the layout I expected, but was roomy and sufficient for our needs. That said the living room furniture was terribly uncomfortable. The coach was not comfortable to sit on at all. While we spent a lot of time outside. In the evenings when our kids were out at the pool my husband and I like to relax and unwind in the room. That was basically impossible as the coach was too uncomfortable to sit at for any period of time. The TV in the bedroom would freeze up and not always work, so watching TV in bed didn’t always work either. The amenities were nice, we enjoyed the pool, the restaurant actually had really good food, the bar is grossly overpriced but since you can bring your own cooler to the pool wasn’t a deal breaker. Unfortunately you can’t have a cup within 6 ft of the pool so you can’t really relax in the water with a beverage. Getting to a public beach isn’t as convenient as it appears. We drove to the public beach across the street and it is VERY small and a ton of people packed in…. Henderson state park beach was much better, but alcohol isn’t allowed so you have to choose what you prefer. We saw several families walking back from the beach who had ridden the shuttle over as the shuttle never returned to pick them up. Overall this is probably a great place for family’s with a little younger kids (ours were 15).

The resort has a amazing pool area ,

The resort is beautiful, very clean , always seen someone cleaning something. Across the street from beaches ( wouldn’t suggest walking , roads are very busy ) Close to restaurants and shopping . Condo was just as pictured. The staff we encountered was very Friendly.From the condo we stayed you could hear the thumping of the music til after midnight . Overall we had a amazing time , would Definitely to back

Great property!

We loved that this condo has two full sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The washer and dryer also worked wonderfully, unlike other condos we have stayed in at The Palms. We also loved that the bedrooms have ceiling fans, which is also uncommon in other units. The tvs were good sizes. The view is outstanding! I had no idea we would be able to see so much of the ocean! My kids appreciated being able to borrow the pool noodles in the closet. The property owner was very sweet and called me a few days before our stay to give us some tips. She was easy to reach and we loved everything about our vacation!

Great Trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, paticularly the pool because it was ideal for the three smaller children in our group. The property is exactly as described as was the process. The condo was very clean and met out needs perfectly. We would definitely return and stay at this location.
