Place is a basic beach side hotel. Probably could use some updating but was clean and staff is always good and decent breakfast. Cant beat it for the price.

Dated room but good sleeping comfort.
The location is great. Right on the beach and with a room facing the ocean, it's really great. What's no so great was that the balcony was pretty dirty and scappy. The room is quite dated and could do with an update. The shower curtain had mold on it. The bathtub was also in pretty poor condition. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The room was clean but it does need a thorough cleaning, a new shower curtain, some repairs around the corners and then it could be pretty good. I slept well, but was surprised about this. The lady at the check in counter was very nice and gave very good service. So - all in all, needs an update and a thorough cleaning and it could be very good.

Mold, rust and filth
We have stayed here before and had good experiences. We know it is older and run down but that is okay with us for the price point and location. The issues were that we booked the room for four people. We had only two towels and no bedding for the fold out couch which would accommodate the third and forth person. When we called the office they stated we had to come down and get them ourselves. In addition there was no blanket on the bed. Just a sheet and a rough paper thing bed cover. Also the room was filthy. The floors were dirty the fold out couch was covered in black mold and obvious stains. The mattress on the couch was also covered in black mold and what fell out of the couch for debri was disgusting. We almost were too grossed out to let our kids sleep on it. When asked to change rooms we were told we booked through a third party so they could not help us. Lastly the AC was set at 75 and could not be adjusted so with no fan and at 75 we were sweating all night on the rock hard beds. Good thing we didn’t need the blankets. The refrigerator was also only partially cold even at the highest setting and was covered in a full layer of rust. We used to love this place and have always spoke highly of it but we will never return. In addition the website of the motel has zero information on it.

I called in advance yesterday afternoon since I was going to be there later in the evening, the associate I spoke with assured me that someone would be there so I could check in. I showed up and the office was closed, I reserved an oceanfront view room but after I got my keys and walked to the room and the keys didn’t work, the manager walked over and opened the door only to find it hadn’t been cleaned. I got put into a room that wasn’t oceanfront like I had reserved (wouldn’t have minded it if it hadn’t have been more expensive) in terms of the state of the room…I’ve stayed in barracks rooms that were nicer in Afghanistan, the desk in the corner was held together by tape, it smelled like dirty mike and the boys had been there for a week, and it definitely was not clean. I paid $230 for two nights and I’m not exactly happy about paying that much for staying in something that raggedy. I recommend finding somewhere to stay.

Great area with good beaches and I can't say for other hotels but I'm sure their a little bit better as far as being updated. The best description, I can come up with for this place is a dive hotel. It's got a dive bar feel in a hotel.

Horrible room beach nice
The location was excellent but our room was terrible. I understand renovations are coming but it’s the cleanliness. Our floor had food and sticky stuff on the floor. The shower was awful and toothpaste on the counter. These things show that the rooms are not being cleaned. I would not recommend. Unfortunately photos would not let me upload.

The back area by the pool and the deck was beautiful completely brand new our first room would probably only get one star the air conditioner never worked it was very old not the cleanest and they moved us after a little bit of complaining to a much nicer room that I would give three or four stars too but at least the air conditioner worked

I would have rather camped outside in a tent
Absolutely disgusting. Stains all over the walls and floors; cracks in the tile floors, and a huge hole in the window screen. Our only AC unit was a loud portable unit with no hose leading outside, so it blew hot air directly out the back and into the room. The shower was smaller than a telephone booth; I'm 5'2 and I constantly hit my elbows trying to shower. I left a night early and checked into a different hotel because I could not stand staying here another night.

Need a makeover
The pictures on the web are false. When we arrive the elevator did work but my kids were scared to get in because of the way it looked.when we got to our room it was a wet towel on the bed and the room was just nasty. The view of the ocean was the highlight of the room. We stayed for 4 night but after we arrived the elevator broke down and was out of order. So the 4 day we was there we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs and drag our suitcases down 3 flights of stairs . But I must say the staff was nice . The web site stated they have free breakfast but to find out they serve bag breakfast (orange and granola bars). Guess I paid for the view never again

I don’t even know where to start! We were given room 203 upon checkin, get to our room it was 88 inside, AC showed it was on and set to 65. It was EXTREMELY hot and muggy to the point the beds were wet and there was sweat on the walls. We waited 30 mins for it to cool off, it didnt. I played with the AC, and it showed PO. Went to front desk, she called maintenance said he’ll be here in a few. 20 minutes after not hearing back, I went to the lobby, she said sorry but this room has been scheduled for maintenance. We have on room available but its just for tonight(we had booked 4 nights). She switched us to 225, and told us to come back in the morning for our new room. Went to the desk at 8am to see what room we were being moved to, front desk lady (shannon) was extremely rude and said well sucks for you cause theres no rooms youll have to find another hotel. (I have recordings of this). So now were stuck in florida, needing a room to get ready as we have a wedding to be at later that day. They made us leave by 11am, no apologies or anything. Also, when we got to our new room our toilet was clogged and we called for maintenance, no one showed up, next morning i went back to front desk about it, and maintenance still never showed up! Do not stay here!!! It is run down & staff is HORRIBLE

First was broken elevator for third floor unit. The room conditions were visibly moldy shower curtain. Sand on mattress. Weird tape left on walls. Beat up furniture.no coffee maker but coffee. Asked for one and absolutely none available. No hot water when trying to use as too many others had already used and had to wait for water to get hot again for 45 minutes. Deteriorating outside building and unsightly. Would never book or stay again. Should have paid me to stay. Horrible. Go to the lotus boutique.

The view and location were amazing. However the hotel was old and dated. Holes and cracks in wall, rust on appliances, air condition dripping, small fridge had an odor like something was rotten in it. Floors not clean, dirt and dead bugs in corners.
