Pulled up to the parking lot and first thing I see is three people who are under a tree by a fence and surrounded by bushes take off, it appeared a drug deal was going down or that they were smoking something together. I called and even appealed to manager to have payment reimbursed but they refused. Room was terribly smelly, there was lots of mold under the mat in the bath sub, some of the lights didn't work and furniture was broken.
The room was a wreck, plaster peeling off ceiling, fixtures leaking, towel rack falling off wall. The door locks would not work, every time in had to get it re-keyed and the staff just shrugged.
Didn't do much more than sleep.and shower. Teenage son commented shower was not clean. Place was tired but slept well.
The check in line was really loooooong at 4 pm and only person working at the desk. People kept coming back to the desk with room keys that didn't work. When we finally reached the check in counter after about 25 minutes in line, the desk clerk said that they couldn't assign us a room because housekeeping didn't have most of the rooms ready yet and she wasn't sure which ones were clean. So come back later. Really? The room we finally got into was OK but I would never stay there again.
The location was remote and very scary for a female traveling alone. I took one look at my room, shut the door, returned the key to the front desk and informed them I WOULD NOT be spending the night (even though I had already paid for the room and had no idea if I would be able to find another hotel). This hotel was BAD and I am NOT a picky person, but I do consider my safety a top priority and I DID NOT feel safe in this hotel. Also, the rain had come in the windows in my room and when I opened the curtains the wallpaper around the edge of the windows was peeling off and was full of black mold. WHOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
full of semi trucks, outdated, just disapointed for a quality inn
Hotel was OK. However, compared to similarly-priced hotels, this location needs a major overhaul. Should have been 30% lower in cost, at least, for the environment that is presented.
My daughter and I had been traveling all day, and were disappointed to the point of almost going to a different hotel. The primary reason we didn't move was that we were bone tired and it was late. These folks need a huge lift to make this place worth anything more than $20 per night.
