We absolutely LOVED our stay here! It is so quiet and peaceful. The beach is lovely and perfect for a sunrise stroll with the Pup. The house was clean and really well stocked. Vicky was super fast to respond when we had an internet issue, she came right out with a new modem. The hiking nearby was beautiful and we loved visiting the St. Marks Lighthouse, the Cathedral of Palms trail, and Wakulla Springs State Park (the boat ride is a must!) We saw lots of wildlife from the beach and the 3 decks! We did some remote work and had no issues with that. Again , the decks are amazing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Not what i actually expected

Pictures of the inside of the condo were accurate. However, the white sand is a narrow amount. Then you come in contact with alot of mud and vegetation in the water. Not good for swimming. Its actually where the boats come in and out and the water does get oily, i experienced this first hand. The person i was communicating with had remote control of the thermostat and security cameras and sensors on the threshhold of the doors. She gave my personal phone number to her friend so the friend could ask about a watch she left at the condo, which i never found, and wanted to come there while we were there. I told her about a dripping leak in the ceiling of the living room and her response was to turn the thermostat up to 76 or 78. So condensation wouldnt drip. I think the ac unit might not be big enough for the house with 9 sleepers, even though 1 was 5yo. Bed space for this condo might be 8 but realistically it should only sleep 5, in my opinion.

Everything We Needed

This place was everything we were hoping for! Right on the beach with everything we needed for a great time. Sand toys, kayaks, beach chairs, fire pit, and more made our trip very enjoyable. The listing is spot on. Located in a quiet and friendly community, Sue's home makes your vacation stress free. There was frequent and fast communication from booking, all the way through our trip. I would recommend Sue's place over and over again.

Spring Break with the grandkids

This couldn’t have been better!! The beach is right there. The kayaks were great fun! I wish it wasn’t as windy so we could have enjoyed the dining porch more, but it was early spring! Thank you Sue for providing such a great vacation! We will be back!!

We love this place and the host was outstanding! Location, peace, tranquility and everything we needed right within our reach! Over cleanliness good, well stocked and uniquely decorated. Perfect quiet getaway on the beach

This is our second time visiting Sue's condo and once again everything was wonderful! The condo is clean, comfortable and the best stocked rental we've ever stayed at. The location is quiet and beautiful and we love to just walk right out onto the beach. Sue is a great, friendly & helpful host that was always there if we had any questions.The condo is in a quiet little neighborhood area with not much around. But close enough to Tallahassee, Apalachicola & St. George Island to visit those areas easily. We highly recommend this condo for your next stay!

Great Vacation!

We had 2 families and we all had a great time. Sue was very attentive and checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. We were able to check in early which was amazing. House was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed being steps away from the beach. Beach is not crystal clear with white sand but it was great for fishing and everyone in our group still enjoyed the beach. Thank you for having us and I'm sure we will be back!

Great, quiet spot!

We really enjoyed this quiet getaway! Our favorite spot was the swing with the pups. Very peaceful. Sue was amazing too. She was very intentional in making sure we had everything we needed.

Great Little Family Getaway

Our family loved staying here! If you love fishing in the gulf this is a great location for boating/fishing right on the water. Ms. Sue communicated with us regularly, making sure everything was ok! She had the condo stocked with anything we needed. We didn’t even have to haul beach toys and gear with us. She had a variety of toys, kayaks, life vests, and floats for the kids. As well as plenty of chairs. We will be back!

Perfect getaway spot!!

If i could give more then 5 stars i would. I didn't realize i could fall in love with a place, but i did. The rental is located in a secluded community. On the beach down a quiet road. We had the most amazing time! We loved kayaking during the day and making smores on the beach at night. Sue was the best host we ever had. She treated us like we were family. The rental was stocked with anything and everything we needed. Such a nice relaxing week! If you're on the fence about renting this cozy spot, do yourself a favor and book it. You wont regret it!! This was the best rental ive ever stayed in. Thank you so much Sue for having us!!!

Fantastic views!

Fantastic views from each balcony, this rental was extremely clean has everything you need, The host is fantastic! Check-in process was very smooth it's located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood with all the amenities.

Gorgeous Views and so Relaxing

My family and I had an amazing time staying in this condo for Spring Break 2024. The condo was above and beyond stocked with anything you could think of. It is clean and beautifully decorated. Master bed was so comfortable!! The views are gorgeous. Our first day there we saw a bald eagle fly over our heads while sitting on the beach. Our last day we saw dolphins while sitting on the beach and later when relaxing on the back deck. The dolphins were very active and playful. I loved having a fire on the beach and I loved the outdoor lighting . The area is beautiful and peaceful. Host was easy and quick to communicate with. Perfect family vacation for our family of four! Side note- our family visited the St. Marks Wildlife Refuge (where the light house is) and Edward Ball Wakulla Springs state park and I highly recommend checking those places out!

Ideal for couples.

Ideal location for a couples getaway, but a few caveats. The Big Bend area of Florida is great for boating, fishing and eating seafood, but is not miles of white sand, surfing & swimming. That’s perfect for me because I’m going to sit on the deck & enjoy the views, breeze and sounds of the water. At low tide, beach walks are lovely. Active children and teens might be bored though. Another caution is that there’s a lot of stairs. If your mobility or balance is limited (old knees?) they could be a factor. Toddlers or small dogs would be challenged as well. Just to be clear, this isn’t criticism - simply a suitably factor. I enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of the area. Perhaps it’s different on weekends during the summer, but midweek in April was perfect. The unit was very clean, comfortably furnished and well equipped. Attractive beach-themed decor. Decks on all three levels give you variety in views, shade and breeze.

Quit and peaceful

Peaceful little area with nothing to do but enjoy the water and the sand. House was equipped with everything and then some. Awesome communication with host, clean house and everything you will possibly need on premise. Only need is your food and cocktails. If looking to escape from your everyday hustle then this is the spot. Book this one if you want nothing but peace and tranquility with nothing but your toes in the sand.

Fun break from winter

We had a fun two weeks in February. Wonderful beachside condo, super comfortable bed with cool breezes and gentle waves just outside the bedroom sliding window. No crowds. Area is nature lovers’ and water lovers’ paradise. Wakulla Springs Park and Saint Marks Wildlife Reserve excellent for shore birds; hawks, eagles, and osprey; also turtles and alligators. Well stocked kitchen for preparing meals, including fresh shrimp just caught from gulf – the best! Cycling excellent with smooth flat roads, virtually no traffic this time of year, and several bike trails nearby. Sue was perfect host, always available had there been anything we needed. We hope to return next year.

Wonderful vacation spot!

This was a beautiful clean condo with amazing ocean views on both floors. The condo was very nicely decorated and comfortable for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking or just odds and ends you need even when not cooking. The condo was the best stocked rental we've ever stayed in when it comes to everyday items you need (toilet paper, paper towels, etc). But also had extras that were so nice to not have to buy for a short stay like dish soap, sponges, plastic wrap, garbage bags, etc. Also, the best rental for having backup toiletry items you have have forgotten or run out of during your stay like toothpaste or shampoo. We didn't have to worry about shopping for a thing other than our food & beverages. The king bed in the beachside bedroom was so comfortable which can be rare in a vacation rental so that was greatly appreciated. We loved having the fire pit to use on the beach every night as well. The little details of this place were just top notch! Even had extra doggie waste bags for when we ran out! We'd highly recommend this rental and plan to definitely return in the future!

Christmas at the beach

We were visiting my son in nearby Crawfordville. He planned to propose to his girlfriend on Christmas Eve. The condo was perfect for us. Loved the view of the water from the decks. Sue, our host, set up a Christmas tree for us and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed plus some extra. We could not have asked for a better stay. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area.
