We enjoyed our stay. The kids had fun in the water during high tide. Low tide was muddy but it was fine that forced us to take a break from the sun. We enjoyed the yard and the shade & the fire pit. We did buy a kiddie pool to put at the door to wash the sand off our feet & I recommend that to keep the sand out of the house. We left it for the next guest to use. Overall it was great and we enjoyed our stay.

This place is ideal for a family group. It's been renovated but still needs a lot more attention. Setting on the Bay is gorgeous and proximity to restaurants and other entertainment is great.

Fishing Family Trip

Property location is great right on the water; we’ve stayed here numerous times and always have a good time relaxing and fishing. Property host is easy to communicate with and always attentive. Will definitely be back for next year. Recommend this property!

Fantastic family vacation

My husband and I take our adult children and dogs on a yearly fall vacation and this was perfect! The place was clean and comfortable and met our needs well, just an old Florida house :) If you are looking for lots of action and things to do this is not the place for you but if you are looking for great fishing, wildlife watching, stargazing, quiet and just some good ole family time Bay Dreamin may be just what you need! Not even home yet and I’m already looking for dates for next year!

Fall Break Fun

We had a nice stay. Unfortunately, Hurricane Helene shortened our stay a few days. House was spacious and yard was perfect. Excellent location for access to fishing. Thomas (Host) was very accommodating and quick to respond.

House was not very clean. Even had to wash dishes before we could use them. House had very bad odor. Ice maker did not work. Kitchen chairs falling apart. Thermostat constantly turning up over 80 degrees and house temperature almost 90 degrees.

Peace and Quiet

The property is a refurbished old House that still needs improvements, but it’s practical for what we had in mind. Like I said, keep in mind it’s nothing fancy just a nice comfortable stay. We had a great host who was easily accessible through email or phone calls. We took advantage of the kayak and Jon boat to fish out of. The Jon boat needs some marine JB Weld on the bottom to secure a few leaks but other than that it was a great time.

Repairs Needed!

The house was clean on the inside, as past reviews have stated, although the age and conditions inside make it appear unclean. The house is in sore need of repairs and updating. We had problems with two of the commodes, not running or flushing properly, without manual assistance. The front carport, when it rains, fills up with water, up to about 2 inches deep, and it's muddy water. The furniture is old, in poor shape and in need of replacement. The tiles in the kitchen and dining area are dingy looking. The cabinets are ancient, and don't open easily. There are plenty of cooking pots and pans and eating ware, but it is jumbled up, and very old. The ice maker on the refrigerator does not work. It just appears as if the owner has given up on the place and won't make the necessary changes to make it more livable. We won't be returning there, and we certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone we know.

Quiet, safe, beautiful bay

Spacious house, lots of room to play hide and seek. Large back yard with a great view of bay. No neighbors on one side which is to my liking. Owner very responsive and helpful. We have stayed at many rentals and have never had a well stocked kitchen with lots of pots, pans, utensils. Could use a bit more silverware. Also a couple more chairs for dining table would be welcome. Owner putting in all new windows and upgrading appliances. Great house for families with dogs. I like that they r is on a dead end street and has a bike path across the street. Highly recommend.

2023 Thanksgiving vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house fit our needs with a large family group; plenty of bedrooms and baths as well as living space and dining area. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils but the china and glassware had been well used used; we could have used more of all the utensils. The backyard and small beach area was great for our 3 boys as well as the asphalt walking/biking trail near the street. The owner responded promptly to our request for a cleaning service. There was obviously renovation underway before our stay but materials were orderly and out of the way. For the cost, we were satisfied with the value of the home.

Wonderful Vacation

We really enjoyed our vacation in Bay Dreamin' for the second time! The house was clean, well equipped and there was a lot of space for the whole family. We were surprised to see that the owner did some renovation around the house and this time we felt more comfortable to stay there. The view was wonderful especially at the sunsets. Don't forget to bring fishing rods if you like spending time by the water. At the local store you can buy fresh fish, shrimps, oysters and crab meat. It a very peaceful and beautiful place to stay with your family! We will definitely come back!

Best Family Vacation Ever

The photos don’t do this place justice! So spacious and clean. The views and grounds are breathtaking. Just minutes from Mashes Sands, Carrabelle, Alligator Point, Bald Point and a short drive to St George Beach and Apalachacola! Home is well equipped and everything worked properly. Plenty of space for our family! Property manager always replies almost instantly! 10/10 would rent from him again! Word of advice for others: bring beach towels they cost way too much at the local stores. stop at Walmart or grocery on the way down. There are no store close. Check out all the different beaches! Each are unique and absolutely beautiful.

Family Holiday & Hurricane Idalia

The Hurricane had left our property damaged. We had a tree on the house and several others down. Since we had no electricity the owner invited us down a day earlier. What a blessing! This is our sixth day with no power! The grandchildren enjoyed the beach and the men enjoyed the fishing. The house is unique and very roomy! The views are beautiful. We will definitely be back. The owner was quick to respond to all our questions. Thank you!

Another Great Stay and Another Great Fishing Trip

This was mine and my dads second year staying at this cozy property for our company fishing trip for us and some associates. It was a great time at this awesome property once again. Nice, clean , comfortable place to relax after a long day of fishing. We look forward to visiting again next year if at all possible.

Anice place to unwind by the bay

This was a nice place to spend some time with my sisters and friends. The house is on a nice sized lot and it has direct access to the bay. There are four bedrooms with plenty of comfortable beds. There are three full baths complete with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all three bathrooms...nice touch. The home is older but there are some vintage touches and a nice size kitchen and living space. I will say that I wasn't expecting the bay water to be brown (the color of tea). We looked into it and it's not harmful but we couldn't swim in it which was a little disappointing but we did enjoy the beach every day at low tide. Tom was easy to reach and communicated well. I would recommend for a relaxing, enjoyable, no fuss and very reasonably priced rental.

Home away from home

The house was clean and comfortable, fully stocked with anything you may need. It had a nice view of the bay and a big back yard. We loved the screened in porch at night. I would definitely stay there again.

We never wanted to leave

This house was everything we were looking for! It has an extra large kitchen with tons of prep area. The house was much bigger than the pictures make it seem. The beach area was nice, not clear water, but our grand daughters loved it. Having the kayak was a nice bonus. We will definitely be renting this on the future.
