The property itself was well maintained (though we did not use the pool, so can't comment there). Very close to Whitecap beach. The unit's kitchen was very well stocked with everything you'd need, with the exception of measuring spoons. I think there were a total of two and none of them were a TBSP. I texted Vacasa asking what kind of coffee maker we could expect and was told it was a combo pod/drip machine, so I brought coffee pods. Turns out it's a drip machine, so that was annoying. I'd suggest checking into the unit first before going to the grocery store. Laundry soap is not provided, FYI.
The sofa has seen better days, but my daughter slept on its queen bed just fine. The mattress in the bedroom was fine (I prefer firmer, but it wasn't terrible). The TV in the bedroom doesn't allow you to add apps, so you're stuck w/whatever is installed.
I did not appreciate waking up to the racket from the unit upstairs, which was very obviously undergoing renovation. Power tools, heavy objects being thrown on the floor, heavy footsteps. Just overall very unacceptable. I tried texting Vacasa, which I think is just a bot, FYI. Not an actual human, because the response was very robotic and unhelpful. Fortunately, the noise mostly stopped for the remainder of the trip. There were a few moments of noise in the afternoon, but nothing to get spun up about.
I don't know that we would stay here again because the unit was small for us, but it's perfect for a couple.
