Delta canceled my flight. (Planes continued to take off and land all day - Delta said it was weather). Could not make it to Houston. Hilton Garden Inn of the Woodlands. Called up staff, they said no, nothing we can do to help me out. Called up the manager and got voice mail, no return call from him ever. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am out my $ and no one from anywhere ever calls back. Never use Hilton again and will tell all my friends about this experience. Also, Orbitz was non helpful, they tried to call the hotel one time and said "sorry". What a joke. On me.

Afterafew stays the Hilton was average. Front desk not as friendly.

Great hotel at an affordable price, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the place has a strange smell in the hallways. It was not exactly noxious but it was definitely not pleasant.

Waffles were great and breakfast was affordable. So many places to walk to nearby. Loved our stay

Great location! We were able to visit with family and explore surrounding points of interest.

Booked this hotel over others because of the bar. When we arrived the bar was closed however. They do have an amazing firepit that was perfect for the chill coming in. The room was picturesque. Everything was spotless and felt cozy. The staff was so so. The didn't explain any of the amenities the hotel had. I was pleased with the presentation that Hilton put on thoroughly and would recommend this hotel again and again.

Great hotel.. Location location location!! You can't get any closer to attractions, shopping, nightlife!

I booked the room at the last minute and was not disappointed. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. The bed was comfortable, the showers were hot, and the climate control was perfect. For the price of the room, the value was outstanding. I will be staying here again in the future.

Great hotel and cheapest in the area. Still very nice and would definitely recommend

The room was very comfortable with all the convenience of home, like microwave, fridge, coffee maker etc. Staff was friendly and efficient with check in and check out. Ate breakfast there one morning which was confusing as to how it worked. It should have been included in the room price for all the hassle that we had with it. As we found out, there really was not much to do in Houston unless you like to shop at big malls and stores. Go to Galveston if you want to have a good time.

The entire stay was quite enjoyable. The room was quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and willing to help. Complimentary coffee was available, but adding a complimentary continental breakfast would be ideal. You can walk to a nearby shopping mall and grocery store, but to see the city of Houston you would need a car to travel around the area.

We stayed in the Woodlands as it close to Medical Center (where one of us works) and to downtown. It was a short drive to downtown for dinner and the theater then back to the hotel for a night of slumber. The bed was SUPER comfy and other than a few late night party people stumbling in after midnight, it was a great stay!

This is my first time staying at a Hilton Garden Inn. It is not good value for the money. I doubt that I will ever stay at one again. The restaurant and bar are a joke. The food edible but uninspired and only available at breakfast. For more than $200 a night you'd expect at least a complimentary breakfast. The pool is outside and not not available in cold weather. The fitness center is minimal. A fire alarm went off my first night of stay. According to another guest, it was the second night in a row the alarm went off. It was due to a dryer overheating somewhere in the staff area. There were only two staff on duty and nobody seemed to know what to do. No apologies, no explanations, nothing to the guests huddled in the cold after evacuation. For the amenities, one could stay close by for almost $100 a night less. The cost appears to reflect the location more than the intrinsic value of the accommodations. Yes the rooms were quiet, clean, and reasonably sized. The elevator worked. Staff were polite.

A clean convenient hotel - quiet - pleasant front desk staff, free parking. Think that they could provide a breakfast for the price even a continental one as an option to buying a cooked breakfast in their dining room. But if in the area would stay there again.

Me and some friends went shopping for the weekend. We had no problems with the hotel until we went to take a bath at night and realized our bathroom had not been cleaned because there was still shampoo, soap and a razor left in the shower. The hotel manager came and cleaned our bathroom which was nice though left us wondering how clean was the rest of the room? The location was great, felt safe.

Staff was nice and friendly, rooms were clean. Bed was soft as well.

I was there on business. Hotel was clean and staff were nice. There is a nice little store in the lobby plus small bar. Had a little trouble with the internet service, but the hotel staff was able to get it straightened around. Hotel is in a good location near the "Downtown" Woodlands and it is easy to walk to everything within a mile or so and their are good sidewalks. My only negative is that breakfast was not included. Right next door to this hotel is the Residence Inn. It is not as new or nice as the Hilton Garden, but breakfast (and sometimes a dinner) is included for the same price room. For me this makes the Residence Inn my first choice, but if you care a little more about new and nice amenities and less about free breakfast the Hilton Garden would be a good choice

The HGI was very clean, staff friendly and the location was ideal.

Dear Andy, I apologize that Delta cancelled your flight and you were not able to make it to the hotel. We guarantee reservations to ensure that you have accommodations when you arrive to The Woodlands. Unfortunately, we often turn away other travelers who need rooms because we are relying on our guaranteed reservations to arrive, and when they cancel without enough notice it does not give the hotel enough time to resell that room. I am disappointed to hear that you left messages for a manager and never received a call back. Although these conversations with our guests may not always be the easiest, it is a minimum expectation that you receive the courtesy of a returned call. Best Regards
