This hotel is starting to show its age. Most of the rooms are well maintained and clean, but there are some that are showing their age more than others. The Desk person was competent, although inexperienced and had some difficulty performing certain tasks (such as applying reward membership to hotel stay). This hotel is adequate for a business trip, but would stay in a nicer hotel for personal trips.

Hotel is in the process of renovating the rooms. Can tell this hotel is older but is still a great place to stay.

Nice experience. Very friendly and courteous staff. Close to restaurants and main highway.

This hotel needs a deep cleaning and a truck load of TLC. Dirty carpet throughout and carpet that is no longer stuck to the floor. Elevators are very shaky, stinky and used. (We opted for the stairs every time.) Bathrooms have caulk on top of caulk and the ceilings are tinged brown. Pool was clean. Gym cramped with equipment and no windows. We paid for what we got and won't be back.

Check in took over 1 hour. We had ordered wheelchair accessible room. It was on out confirmation but not on Wingates order. I had to call and talk to several people to try to get the agency to change request to handicap but they would not. The hotel clerk called and talked for a long time trying to get it resolved but one guy was so rude and he hung up on her. We both were very stressed out. We had driven for over 6 hours to get to hotel and needed to rest. But we had to deal with this problem. We finally got in s room but not handicapped. Orbitz sent the confirmation saying it was wheelchair accessible but it was not. Orbitz really messed up on us by not letting hotel know what we requested

I enjoy staying here because of the location, the buffet and happy hour. You won't go wrong staying here.

Stayed one night. Used fitness room next morning, afraid to touch anything. Needs a good cleaning and some equipment refurbished. Bed in room was comfortable. Bathtub needs new caulking. Breakfast offered many options.

Everything was fine with our stay until 10am the following day. I took my boys downstairs to swim and my 13 yr old daughter stayed in the room to change into her swim suit. I put the "do not disturb" on our door when I left. My daughter was changing when the house keeper knocked and walked in. My daughter want clothed, so she ran up close to the headboard only for the house keeper to come to the foot of the bed. My daughter called me screaming, so the boys and I took off running, soaking wet to our room. She was so upset about someone seeing her unclothed! I was on my way downstairs the same housekeeper stopped me wanted to know how long until I would be out of the room. Keep in mind it's only about 10:35 at this point and check out is 12. I told her check out was 12 and I didn't appreciate her coming in on my daughter. She started following me down the hall showing me her paper that we were a discharge for the day. I said "yes at noon, it's not even 11 yet." As I'm walking she steadily going on about us getting out of the room. While I was down speaking with the front desk, my kids quickly packed their belongings and made their way downstairs. The same housekeeper stopped them and questions if they finally had their stuff out of the room so she could clean it and go home. Again, it still wasn't even close to 11 and checkout is NOON! I'm so upset and would never recommend anyone stay here that values their privacy! My daughter is very modest and feels completely violated.

It was great for the most part. Only thing I recommend is moving that trash bend from around the pool, it can have it smelling bad in there sometimes but they're also remodeling I guess. My kids and I had fun.

I liked that we could use the side entrance with out key

Room was clean and comfortable. The area was nice and seemed safe. Staff was very friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring my satisfaction with the facility.

I had just driven 5 hours to go to a funeral and when I first check in I was surprised on how dated it was. There were out of order signs everywhere including the pool and spa tub. The lobby had lots of light bulbs out and the main light fixture was full of bugs. When I checked into room 224 I immediately noticed that the chair had unsightly stains on it and on the wall next to it as well. Every lampshade had the seam showing and one of the shades had stains on it. The coverlet for the comforter had stains as well. I checked out the bathroom and the tub liner was dirty. Needless to say I asked for another room. The one they put me in had 2 light bulbs out in the bathroom and a dirty liner in the tub and once again all the lamp shades with the seams showing and the pictures on the were dirty. The next day I went to iron my shirt and the ironing board had stains all over it and I had to put a towel on it to iron my shirt. They told me at the desk that they were in the process of renovating and just got a new maintenance person and they had been short staffed. Hopefully they will get their act together. Even is something is dated as long as it is clean that is what really matters.

We arrived early for a funeral. The staff got a room clean for us to be able to change clothes and finished stocking it when we were finished. Thanks so much. Joy was at front desk

I am extremely disappointed! I start by waking in my non-smoking room that smells like someone smoked pot in there! Room looks old. I can deal with old. I can not deal with dirty! There are splatter stains of something I don't want to know about on the picture above my bed, there is dried up food from a fingerprint on the TV guide. Then, the bathtub has build up in it!!!! You can see where part of it was sprayed but not wiped down. Dirty floors and baseboards! I was ripped off!!!!! I didn't shower and wouldn't walk around barefooted! To top it off, I was woken up by housekeeping coming in my room at 8:30am!!!! I told her I was sleeping and didn't need to be out until noon, so she went to the room beside me and started vacuuming! Since I couldn't fall back asleep, I packed up and left. As soon as I walked out of my room, she popped out of the other room and asked if I'm gone now! YES!!!! I'll never go back!!!!! Especially when I paid over $70 for a dirty room!!!

Horrible smell in elevators. Musty hallways. Rest was just ok.

It was not all like it appear on website the pool was not available hot as it was very disappointing

Everything was good. This was good place to stay and it was better than I thought it would be.

Traveled with my 3 children and stayed here for two nights. They loved the pool! Breakfast was awesome. Very responsive to our needs.

Hotel sheets old and worn, the deactive pillows dirty, the maids wouldn't even leave lean classes or take dirty ones. Not enough hot waters for morning showers had to shower in the evening to get warm water.
