The apartment is in a great location and close to restaurants and shops, which was nice. It is also close to the river. There are a few things about our stay that could be improved for future guests. Typically, we receive check-in information 24 hours ahead of time so we know where we're going, the parking situation, etc.; however, we only received this information 30 minutes before our stay after messaging and calling the owner as well as having to call VRBO, who then had to call the owner. This made it stressful on our way there as we weren't sure if we were going to have the necessary information by the time we got there (which was after the listed check-in time). The apartment is spacious enough, likely best for 2 guests. It could be cleaner as a couple of the towels were visibly dirty and the trashcan had a very strong odor. There was also a half used small hotel bottle of lotion. It would be helpful if the owner left a manual with information for guests as well, particularly for the thermostat. We were not able to find the thermostat anywhere, then had to message the owner because the air blows right on the head of the bed all night. However, we were never able to get the information because of VRBO blocking their email address (used for log in) through messaging, so we could never adjust the air. Also, there was a microwave but not a single microwave-safe dish. Overall, a good location, but could use several improvements to make for a better experience.
