Had to switch to three different rooms, the first to rooms we were given were never cleaned, beds were unmade and dirty towels and trash were in rooms. Elevators, fire alarms and laundry machines not working. Hallways and common areas need vacuumed. You are better off getting a tent at the WalMart down the street.

Bedding had stains. Chairs had stains. Tub didn't drain, so by the time I got out of the shower, the water was half way up my calf. Homeless guy sleeping on the walk by the door. Ice machine only on firsy floor and was surrounded by puddle of water and soaked towels. Had to change rooms due to tv not working.

Abomination Hampton

I already submitted a review about this absolutely disgusting hotel!! It was submitted on July 19, 2025. This hotel was so bad and so poorly run that I was completely unable to check in!! The front desk said the computer system was down and unable to check in patrons that had used third party systems (ie hotels.com, Expedia etc). The lobby stunk, the elevator was inoperative and the pool was not functioning! The man at the front desk could not check us in as well as other patrons. It was 1720 local time and we were told to come back later. We returned at 2020 to check in and the room was not available! There was no estimated time the room would be ready! Other patrons were also waiting on rooms. They were understaffed and unable to clean the rooms! It was so bad that the front desk clerk had to leave the front desk to clean each room per patron after they were able to check them in. Check in was at 1600. This room should have been ready then. It still was unavailable at 2020 local time!! How long do I have to wait for a room that should have already been available!! I am demanding a FULL REFUND for the debacle of a hotel!! I was physically unable to check in due to no rooms being clean! I am not waiting uniting midnight to get a room!! Would you?! Your staff needs to remove this hotel!! Read the reviews!! It’s an abomination!! You told me you checked with the hotel and they would not give a refund! Maybe the BBB CAN HELP! You make the customer whole! Then go after the hotel!!

The housekeeping staff apparently quit the day of our check-in. The front desk staff was completely frazzled and said we should cancel our stay. It was 10:30pm! They finally found us a 1/2 cleaned room. The elevator was broken and the hotel very either broken or dirty. It was gross!

I did not like when I checked in there was no one at the desk. I had to wait over 10 minutes and then I left and came back a few hours later and I still had to wait for a desk person.

Front desk had an attitude when I checked in early at 2:45pm, rather than 3. Even though I explained I just came straight from the airport in Denver, but was not in a hurry to check in. Same staff gave me an attitude at breakfast the next morning. I simply asked if there were any plates. Breakfast was served, but no silverware, plates or bowls were out. The person putting breakfast out told me he was moving as quickly as he could and breakfast didn't start til 6am.... To which I replied... It was 6:15. Facepalm*. Food was pretty bad too. Fruit that was put out was mostly rotted. Hotel room was in horrible condition. Vents all had a thick layer of dust on them. Carpets were not vacuumed. Bathrooms were in rough condition. Lots of cracks light fixtures, shower doors that were difficult to move. Elevators in the hotel did not work, so stairs were the only option to access my room. Door to those was on the exterior of the building. Just a mess. Hard to believe this is a Hilton property.

The woman that was at the front desk was lovely and did her best to help me. However, the property itself is a complete mess. The main thing was that our AC was broken. So sleeping was absolutely miserable. This was a one of the handicapped rooms, which is really disturbing considering people that are using these rooms cannot sleep in a room that doesn’t have AC. Fortunately, the lady at the front desk did find a fan for us and we were able to put that in her room and then with Wedding our hair before going to sleep that helped us be able to sleep, but it was still miserable. The pool was broken while we were there. The wallpaper is peeling off of the walls. I would just I would never pay for the experience again. I wanna even let somebody pay me to go. Do that experience again. But on the positive side, the lady at the front desk was super helpful. (however the manager seemed not to care about the broken AC at all) and the continental breakfast was fine. Nothing great, but also not disappointing either.

Do not stay here!!

I have never stayed in such a dirty Hampton! The bathroom mirror and shower stall was dirty, toilet paper holder was broken and laying on floor. Ceiling vents had dirt hanging out. Carpet and stairwells had dog hair everywhere. If there was anything else available in Cañon City we would have left. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also not good. I would never recommend this place.

This by far was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I am in town due to a family member in hospice. Arrived at 4:00 and the room wasn't ready. When I came back around 8:00pm, I checked in and learned that the elevator had been out of order for over a week and the pool is filthy, hot tub had no water. Walked into the room and realized it was still dirty. There were dirty towels in the bathroom and no new towels. There were still opened drinks in the fridge. The desk hadn't been wiped down and there was a film all over the bathroom sink and shower. I went to the desk to ask for a new room. The clerk walked us up to the 3rd floor and made a mistake and entered an occupied room. Went to the room she meant to go to and it was also occupied. Finally, I asked for cleaning supplies to clean the room myself. The clerk gave me a Great Value watered down bleach bottle. I said I'd purchase my own supplies. Went to clean the bathroom and upon cleaning found pubic hair on the soap dish.ried to clean the tub and the water hardly drained. Microwave is unplugged, and the outlets by the bed do not work. Broken chair left in the room. When I spoke to the manager TJ, I let him know that I wanted a refund for my two nights. I told him I'd clean the room myself and he allowed me to do so. Today, I followed up with TJ. He said he'd do his best. Turns out his best was an insult. He said he would comp my room for a third night. He commented that I had received a great rate. Lackluster and underwhelming

Overall a very poor stay. Such a long list of things to name that we had problems with. 1. The elevator wasn’t working and they pleaded with us to try to put us on the 2nd or 3rd floor, but we had a lot of gear between the two rooms. They ended up putting one of the two rooms on the second floor and one on the first. The second floor room had no power working (lights, outlets, etc.). They ended up relocating second room to first floor after all the hassle. 2. Pool and hot tub were both out of order. 3. Self service laundry was out of order. 4. Gym had no water to drink. 5. They ran out of breakfast two different times during scheduled hours. 6. They ran out of wash cloths to use and had to wait for them to find more. Overall a poor experience with this hotel and would avoid if you can.

Apparent lightning incident caused loss of elevator and pool heater. Hallway was blocked off with fans and cords. Loss of power in our room, peeling paint. If we weren't desperate for a shower, we wouldn't have stayed.

This hotel was dirty and had many broken amenities. The elevator was down (we were placed on the second floor), the pool was closed (Told us we could swim if we didn't mind the cold temperature of the water. Went to check it out and pool was full of mold and alge.), main hallway was closed due to water leaking out of the ceiling. Our room had dirty towels still in the bathroom, a previous guests socks on the floor, and stained sheets. The fridge was missing and the tub wouldn't drain. Upon complaint to the front desk, we were told he trusts his housekeeper and showed us the room had been marked clean but would move us. We were shown two other rooms and only one looked like it was clean and had a tub that would drain. (Sheets were still stained and we requested new linens.) The breakfast are looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time and food options were cold. It is clear the area is not wiped down or vacuumed.

The elevator has not worked for months. They are understaffed severely. Breakfast wasn't good. They ran out of coffee. The pool water was slimy and not good to swim in. Our room was never cleaned. Yuck. Stay somewhere else.
