Just goes to show you, you get what you pay for. Tired and unwilling to go any farther, we stopped at this hotel. The price was cheap. Just wanted a clean bed and shower, but we didn't bargain for carpet that left the bottom of your feet black. I told the manager the next day that I believed he needed to clean the carpet, he shrugged. I told him I would post on Trip Advisor and he said go ahead. This is why they make you pay ahead for if I had known, we would have slept in the car.
So they called me few hours after i left and accused me of stealing mattress pad. Manager gets on phone and says housekeeper reported it missing told him no way would i ever take anything not mine, especially that. He went on and on then says we all have to answer to God. More he went on madder i got. Gross can you imagine a used mattress cover. Guess he better have a staff meeting to see who didnt put on cover. Filed a complaint. God only knows👼
We have stayed in just a few Motel 6 locations. This was old in desperate need of remodeling. It was not very clean. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling. I would not stay here again. TV remote was difficult to operate. No tea in the lobby in the morning just coffee. We do not do coffee!
After many miles of riding, we stopped early for a room. Descent place, clean, and inexpensive when split 3 ways. Beds are ok, pillows are terrible. Exterior doors are a plus for easy loading and watching out for the bikes during the night.
The city being booked, I found a room available via Hotels.com and it was okay. Being a Motel 6, I expected the bare bones rooms one gets while staying here. The ladies working the front desk were very helpful and cheery and provided good customer service, and I was pleasantly suprised, having not so good experiences from previous Motel 6's in many different states. My room had a microwave and mini fridge and flat screen TV, which for the the price was very nice. However, the ice machine was out of commission. King size bed was alright and the only problems I had with my room were not so clean sheets and some stains on the bathtub that were gross to look at, and not enough hot water in the shower. I think this Motel 6 needs to be renovated as the in-room phones say "America's Best value Inn" if I'm not mistaken. Overall, a good Motel 6 with friendly ladies and okay rooms. Remember people, this is a budget motel chain, and this Motel 6's locations provides good access to the main part of Clarksville and McDonald's and a gas station is right across the street.
Great for price. Friendly people. Clean beds. Close to restaurants. Coffee in the morning. Microwave and fridge in the room. I'm handicapped and was given a bottom floor. Very accommodating to campers pulling a camper.
Had a mix up in my dates when I reserved my room, then went to wrong place and those folks did not even tell me i was at wrong spot. But Mr Lee and the staff there figured it all out and credited me back the money for my missed date. super nice staff and they hated I was misled by others, so be sure you always stay here and not that other place. Next time in town and I am going by to thank them in person, Customer service is one of the most important things in business and they have it here.
Hotel is conveniently located. Check in was very slow. Although we had pre-paid, the front desk did not have the information handy when we arrived. The first room we were assigned was not made up. Dirt on the carpet, old linen with stains. We exchanged this for another room which had musty smelling but cleaner linen. The ceiling in the bathroom was leaking due to a leaky pipe. Breakfast was donut, bad coffee and weak coffee.
You really do get what you pay for. However, I didn't know I was paying for the bedbugs too. If I were you, I'd take the mold and smell as a sign to run to one of the other hotels. Just pay a little extra for a cleaner and friendlier environment.
Gap under the door. Wall had split seem. The beds were to springy for me. I liked the water pressure in the shower.like I would not stay if I was traveling with wife an kids the wife would never have stayed there. Bottom line is you get what you pay for.
