Property is old but not stinking and importantly they have an elevator. Staff are friendly Internet is not up to the mark, for better internet speeds you pay for each device. Not much of options on the pick and go breakfast but still they maintain high quality compared to the other three of the same brand in this locations.
Currently, I am transitioning from New Jersey to Ohio and staying with Extended Stay on Creek Road. I feel like this is my second home, the entire team(staff) are spectacular!! Extremely kind, caring and considerate. The hotel room is extremely clean and has all the amenities of home. Being away from my husband and children can be extremely sad especially at Christmas, however, staying in a very comfy place helps me immensely!!! Thank God, I booked this hotel!! I start my new job next week and I do not feel nervous about doing so but extremely excited!! The folks here take away all my worries and needs!! I highly recommend this place, that is an understatement.
I don't know where to begin! The company I worked for booked me there for work, for the weekend. At the time I checked in I asked for an itemized receipt for reimbursement and the attendant did not know how to print a receipt. There was enough toilet paper for one use and I had to go back downstairs to get more because there was no spare roll in the room. There were no hangers, not one! Had to ask the attend and he said he had to ask other guests for them. The ice machine was broken and there was no ice maker in the freezer in the room (it was a full refrigerator). It looked like people were living there and the hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. No in room coffee makers and the coffee in the downstairs buffet was lukewarm. You have to go downstairs and trade in dirty towels for clean ones. The attended came back to the desk and had something wet all over his hands and wiped it off on his shirt before getting on the computer. This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had!
Wonderful experiences (October 27 through August 2, 2016) my status unclear in Ohio was I a guest or a protected tenant under Ohio landlord/tenant law approximately 287 days in this wonderful wonderful wonderful environment??? I arrived met Dalma and Eric. Eric a GREAT manager. We loved it until April 2016. However thank you for my educational and costly (over $10k) expenditure into underside of the extended stay America culture. I gained a full circle of goings on that surprised me and increased my knowledge from having stayed at Extended Stay America. Yes there were losses (my hair) and personal items due to some little critters that were there but hey you gotta expect that sometimes even at the best hotels. Believe it or not .... It wasn't the unexpected guests in my "newly renovated from top to bottom" suites (clearly stated on their website) that really won me over. It was management's nonstop ability to make you feel as if they were doing YOU a favor letting you REMAIN there on the property everyday. (Fear keeps most guests quiet and no complaints allowed)Yes first you pay and then they treat you as though you aren't doing quite enough. Then you incur more $$$ losses of items, hair, health and they RAISE the rate on you. Isn't that a gift??? One wonderful experience (I am 62) August 1st (right before I ended up in the ER at Jewish Hospital) a delightful younger woman, allegedly worked there at the desk, usually sitting outside on the patio stirring the pot as usual, exclaimed LOUDLY said to me "Go to my room" WOW!!! When I tried to make fun of this statement to me she got up (bigger girl) and came aggressively toward me "are you gonna go to your room or not?" I went to Blue Ash PD amazed but frightened a bit. The other guests that witnessed this incident were shocked at how quickly after this same girl had brought an iphone conversation with a manager not even present out on the patio. This manager was making such weird assertions it seemed like we had just gotten invited to her partying at home. There really was no other explanation as we were all "older adults" sitting outside discussing a film being made in Cincinnati by another one of the guests. I was stunned and shocked frankly at the courtesy not shown at any time but those in management positions relish their ability to Control your existence or evict you without consequence. How's that for customer respect and kindness! It is quite a show however that was the height of so many wonderful unreal experiences that have still some explaining to do....will keep you updated as I am a contributor on Tripadvisor and have been for quite awhile. If this environment Sounds like a great time then I suggest everyone go have fun.... I thought (wrongfully) the management was NOT knowledgeable about Ohio landlord/tenant law , and Hamilton County Ohio mandates to protect those that MIGHT have a problem....but no they are so much wiser than I thought. They have no worries it seems no matter how untrue their statements, illegal paperwork submitted into court, and signing for documents for YOU w/o consent....because they don't evict in court so they never face the violations. SO COOL THIS REALLY WAS A SCHOOL FOR ME.......LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!Another thought to keep in mind if one says anything (true or not usually not) other employees (you thought were friendly to you) will back up with their outrageous claims made to third parties if you don't do everything their way. Also do not ask for a revised or updated billing that will cause an immediate negative situation but what a GREAT SHOW on the go behind the manager's little cubbyhole. PS Don't leave the kids at home mine (13) loved the verbal abuse and hostile statements embarrassing him in front of other guests three grown managers career path could include maybe their next stop "reality show business"... starring serrer, mullikin, young!! ENJOY yourself lovely lovely time but let's ask ourselves the question .....Ohioans is it true this is okay with you?? I categorize this adventure like what was the wild wild wild west still lawless at Extended Stay America unfettered by any restraint other businesses have in this great state.....makes you go hmmmm?
Worst room I've been in a long time. I'm out of town often due to business and have never dealt with the mildew smell this room constantly gives off. Upon arrival asked for a different room but unfortunately the hotel was booked. Clerk came in and sprayed deodorant and mentioned the room smelled like "wood" but she certainly was covering up for the mildew stink. The stink was so extreme that my 8 month old pregnant wife could only stay in the room for a few minutes before she left the entire hotel. Highly disappointed is how I feel. Mark
The a/c issue had such an effect on our stay, I can't help but lead with it. We were in a one-bedroom suite, which should have been awesome because this was an upgrade; we were booked in a studio at the OTHER Blue Ash Extended Stay and they moved our reservation here with no explanation (I assume they overbooked). However, the living area, where both our kids slept, contained the lone a/c unit. Our bedroom's only air came from a hole at the top of the wall with a built-in fan. I guess the idea is to pull cold air in from the adjoining room. In reality, heat rises, so it only pulled in warm air. My kids were freezing in about 65 degrees while we baked one wall away in about 78 degrees. That was the closest we could get to balancing it out. Otherwise, the service was slow but friendly. The room was nothing fancy but was adequate. The grab-and-go breakfast is prepacked muffins and granola bars, with coffee only to drink, but that did the job. Parking near an entrance was an issue though, and there was only one elevator, which seemed miles from our room. I give this hotel a "meh"
Stayed with our traveling baseball team and had a great time. The rooms were perfect size and the full kitchen is a great bonus especially with kids. The air conditioning in our room wasn't the best. But you can't fault the whole hotel for that. We definitely put the guest laundry to use with the boys' baseball uniforms and everything worked perfectly.
We needed a place to stay for a month while our new home was being finished during recent relocation. The staff was super, the room was very comfortable and we met many great people! We were also close to great restaurants and shopping.
The staff was friendly, the rooms were quiet, clean and adequate in size! The kitchen was also convenient to have, but there is no oven to make a pizza! The queen size bed was comfortable, BUT it wasn't that it just squeaked, it Literally Crunched so Loudly when getting in to bed that it was annoying!. That is why the rating was lowered.
The price was great, the location is perfect for Kings Island visit, staff was super friendly, and a clean room. Breakfast was grab and go. Perfect hotel if you are staying for a week with kitchenette. Bedroom is seperated. This hotel is in a very safe area. It's only about ten minutes from Kings Island. Can't beat the price. We used Priceline and got our room for $55 tax and all.
