This is my second time at Palmeras, it’s clean it’s comfy it has great rates and , don’t be shy about it not being a “well-known brand” because I’ve stayed in a few of those in San Diego… and the Palmeras beats a lot of them by every single metric.

Check-in was fast but indifferent. Upon entry the place was a little run down, but not too bad. Staff was ok. The room was not great. Uncomfortable bed, AC unit spit out water, coffee in room was pretty bad, etc. But you get what you pay for. I guess you cant find decent lodging nowadays for under $100 a night. Late stage capitalism at its finest.
