Hotel is in a great location. Room was very clean. Staff was friendly

I like the proximity to the river walk and Mag Mile. There were many restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. The best thing about this hotel is the location. However, I was disappointed with the staff and the condition of the hotel. Every interaction with staff made me feel like I was bothering them. They were not very welcoming and didn't seem interested in helping me. The one lady who was welcoming was trying to sell me a "seminar" for free hotel nights. I did not appreciate being sold something like this. I was also disappointed in the elevators - they were very slow and we always had to wait at least five minutes. The elevators were never busy during our stay which made the slow speed all the more frustrating. The shower in our room also did not work well - the handle freely spun around and the water pressure was minimal. The walls are also very thin in this hotel - we could hear people in the hallway and in the adjacent room as if they were in ours. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

The room was very spacious but furniture was outdated, circa 1980. Furniture needs to be updated to 21st century. The city view was of buildings' rear. Noisy early morning, garbage trucks Pillows were too soft, no support. Toilet was too low to the floor. Anyone over five feet tall would have had a difficult time using the toilet.

We loved where the property is located. It is across the street from the river walk and a block away from the Magnificent Mile. The room needed updating. The headboard pleather was peeling and not just in one place. Also, the wallpaper was peeling as well. The elevators are being upgraded so you can expect to wait 15 minutes or longer to go anywhere. Otherwise, it was very nice.

Close to the best Chicago has to offer. I had an amazing view of the Chicago river and Trump tower. Very well kept hotel and friendly staff.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had breakfast tickets for both mornings but were told on the first morning that it was for the very small buffet that was set up which would have been fine but on the second morning we were informed that there were items on the menu we could have chosen from instead. This would have been nice to know having some food restrictions eating from the buffet was somewhat difficult. Otherwise everything was great!
