The Westin Lombard Yorktown Center

4.5 out of 5.0

Conference features were very good, the food available was very well handled. Appreciated having fruit available all day.

My only complaint would be the bed. I thought it was too high. I would not discourage anyone from booking a room because of my own idiosyncrasies.

This hotel is relatively new and centrally located. It is close to shopping and multiple restaurants. Target is within walking distance in case you forget anything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The one drawback is that WiFi was not automatically included with my booking. The staff did provide me with complimentary access; however, I was advised this was normally an additional cost when booking through third party sites.

My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway, however we didn't want to be to far from the City. The Westin provided a tranquil relaxing environment. Just what we needed for a little getaway.

I found this close to a job interview, and it was perfect for the occasion. I love the quietness of Westin rooms, and the bathrooms are always spacious and well designed. Great stay.

Generally this was an outstanding hotel. However, I was grossed out by the ball of hair left on the shower drain from the previous guest. At the price, I would expect more care in the house keeping. That said, the rest of the room was spotless.

When I booked I didn't realize this hotel was not in Chicago but it was OK. $30 uber ride into town, $5 train ride (highly recommend the train) much faster. The hotel was super nice and accommodating! Quiet roomnroomn, clean, great gym and pool, free parking! Our window view was breathtaking!

Great hotel and great location. Rooms are nice an updated. Always busy too with weddings, conventions, etc., but a large enough place that you won't feel crowded.

All was great very happy with my choice of the hotel if I came back definitely I stay here

We decided to stay at the Westin because of the value. We were surprised how nuce the was and how comfortable the was. The only thing we missed was a microwave in the room. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else when traveling to the Lombard area. It truly is a great hotel!

Our first encounter with the staff was extremely positive, a theme which continued through the whole stay. From an amenities standpoint, our particular booking was barebones compared to some other Hilton properties, but all in all, a comfortable, clean hotel with a friendly staff.

I book all of my hotels online and never have a problem. I checked out on Sunday only to find out that the hotel charged my credit card for an additional 161. I book and pay ahead for a reason. The hotel still has not reversed the hold on my account 4 days later. Not sure I will stay again for this reason.

If you need to stay in the Chicago area, but not downtown, this is a great pick. Comfortable rooms, free attached parking garage, and great facilities- full pool, hot tub, sauna, and exercise room,

Outstanding Hotel! Sleek, clean and modern! Always a wonderful experience!

Everything was wonderful from when I checked in till I checked out... I must say when ever I'm in Lombard I will make sure to always stay here....

The front desk people are very rude there are better place to stay in the area. I was not treated well by the front desk folks and all went down hill from there

Pros: Convenient, clean and the most comfortable bed of any room I've stayed in. Just perfect. Cons: NO free wi-fi. Six bucks a night. What a rip-off. Neutral: Pricey but good restaurants. Many others close by (as within walking distance).

My frustration is only around the cleaning of our room. I accidentally spilled coffee the first morning on my sheets while I was watching TV... I assumed the bed sheets would be changed since I made it obvious of my accident. When we returned to the room that evening the bed was made up with the same coffee stained sheets. The next day the room was not cleaned at all - no clean towels. I called the desk at 11:30pm and requested clean towels and expressed my frustration with our room not being cleaned. They said that our "Do not Disturb" sign was on the door. I explained that I had not used the "Do not disturb" sign at all during our visit. Where the staff were very nice - hotel was nice. I was just very disappointed with the cleaning of our room. Would I stay there again. No, Sorry. The price did not out weigh the service we received. I expected more.

This is a great place to stay, I would give it a 5 star. It is very clean and spacious and next to everything, eatting, shopping and entertainment.
