Great location, easy check in, everyone was very nice and helpful

Lively building and accommodations. Friendly staff and great location. Add coffee in lobby or rooms.

Beautiful lobby. Friendly staff. Great location. Room was shabby.... peeling paint, carpet could be cleaned and was unraveled in the corners of the room. No amenities as advertised. Rooftop bar & restaurant closed. Overall disappointed

Loved the property and the area of the city. Only negative is no coffee. Not having coffee will not deter me from staying here again though.

I liked the history of the building and the proximity to the Lake.

Hotel was a little outdated and our sheets were dirty. However, we were upgraded to a suite which was totally awesome. The hotel is a little far from everything, but the staff was excellent. I personally wouldn’t stay here again ONLY for the fact that I like to be around the loop and it was roughly a 20-30 minute walk. I do recommend this hotel though!

Hotel was ok the had a problem with the door and the air didn’t work so we had to open the window that was on the 8th floor and it had no screen in it at all

Lovely hotel and wonderful staff. We were in town early and were checked in immediately. Much appreciated.

Great hotel location, a block from Michigan Avenue. Quick, easy check in.

Boutique brownstone remodeled to today's standards - European feel and clientele in well-heeled Gold Coast neighborhood. Great for couples - Walking distance to theater, dining, Magnificent Mile Michigan Ave shopping and two blocks from cool breezes and Lake Michigan walking and bicycling trails. Rooms are comfortable with king beds and well appointed with wet bar and ante room with makeup mirror/table. Rainhead open showers really refreshing. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Alex the doorman is tops !

Convenient to The Magnificent Mile, shopping, and Pier activities.
