The desk staff was very helpful, but the room staff did not do a very good job.The day I arrived one bedspread had dog hair on it even though the desk said it was not a "dog friendly" room. It was no brought in by me because my dog at home has longer hair. On request the spread was replaced. The next day the Kleenex dispenser which was empty was not refilled. I had to go get a box and replace it myself.

great only spent one night but staff was great lady on frount desk was very nice will stay again

On the day of check-in, the woman running the front office called to tell us that she was going to have to cancel our room because our credit card was denied. We gave her two more credit card numbers what she instantly said were denied. We thought it was a scam and color credit card companies. Turns out she never even called to run her credit card numbers. We believe she was attempting to give away our room at a higher rate as rooms were sold out for the eclipse!

The room was dirty, hair on everything. Carpet had rips and huge stains. Staff was slow at check in(more worried about his cell phone call he was on then checking us in). Check out took forever because no one was at the desk. Had to hunt someone down. Overall horrible experience and you couldn't pay me to stay there again.

When we arrived the front desk looked bothered. we asked for vending and she said go to 2nd floor, there was nothing. she replied owell I thought there was I guess I can sell you something here at the desk...really? Tub had hair, sheets had hair, it was gross. Saturday night the smell of pot as we walked in the front door was overwhelming. We got on the elevator and nothing happened, we pressed buttons again, nothing. The front desk guy acted unconcerned about it all. We took the stairs and Sunday morning there was an out of order sign on the elevator. Very disappointed in the whole experience.

We came to enjoy the Smokey Mountains. This served as a good home base. We had a great time

Only one night but enjoyed the stay. Nice location, close to everything but quite. good management and very clean. Will stay here again when business brings me to Bryson City.

Hotel was perfect.Near small town.Just what we were looking for.Hotel is quiet and staff is great.

The room was clean. There were 2 lights burned out. However, I did not tell them until checkout. The coffee was good. I was disappointed that no fruit was on the breakfast bar. I have stayed in a Microtel in WV that had a larger variety for breakfast.

The hotel was completely empty. We somehow got the handicapped room on the first floor. We asked for a late check out and were told since they were completely dead they could not offer us that. The beds were uncomfortable. It's an ok place to rest your head for a cheap amount. The rooms were clean.

THIS IS A NICE PLACE. NICE STAFF. EASY ACESS, PET FRIENDLY

We arrived at about 2:00 am, very tired, we had reservations and had called on the way to confirm, the desk lady was unpleasant and very unfriendly, not very welcoming. We stayed three days and had to have our keys reset on two of the three days, that got annoying. Housekeeper was pleasant and helpful, rooms were clean. Daytime attendants were helpful and pleasant, but not the older lady at midnight, bordered on rude..

Girl at front desk was very helpful. she let us arrive a little before check in as we were there for the funeral and had to re- dress before going to funeral home. Also gave good directions to funeral home. the rooms were nice and clean, We felt very safe. thanks

Spent 2 nights a the Microtel In Bryson City. Very nice hotel at a good price. Great Breakfast and more than basic. Very clean. Not in down town and no pool

Hotel was close to rafting, right off the highway, close to food. Staff was nice and rooms were clean. My only complaint is that the TV was surprisingly small for a hotel room these days...

A very friendly staff and clean room make our journey very comfortable. The hotel location was excellent to take a shot for beautiful coloring early in the morning.

Good What else do you want to know???????????????It was better than most but not as good as others. No Fridge. One dirty bath rag in bath room

We got a great rate at this hotel that was very convenient to 74 and Bryson City. The room had been nicely updated and any complaints would be nit picky. I would stay there again and recommend to friends.

A great location with good scenic views close to the GSMRR and Deep Creek area of the GSMNP. It's also just a 20 minute drive to the Nantahala gorge and great whitewater rafting. Everything was clean and comfortable enough, although the rooms were a bit smaller than we envisioned. Breakfast was OK too and the staff was very helpful in pointing us toward the area attractions. The real selling point was the value, and we feel we got our money's worth and then some. Would recommend!

I had booked a 1 Queen bed room for 2 guests in advance and then decided to bring our son with us on the trip. When I got to the hotel and asked for a room with 2 beds we were charged a $30.00 upgrade fee plus an extra $10.00 for a third person. I thought this was a little excessive on top of the $69.99 charge for the room. When I asked to speak to the manager he came out and didnt say a word...only looked at me with a smug grin and said that they werent in the business of giving away hotel rooms? He also made it known that a member of law enforement owns the hotel for whatever thats worth? No thank you for staying with them or an apoligy for not being able to offer a better deal. Very disapointed and wont stay at another Microtel Inn!
