Super 8 Champaign

The place stinks, and I got weird bites on my leg.

Nothing fancy, but couldn't beat the price and location. Comfortable bed, and continental breakfast. Situated near many restaurants, and shopping. 10 minutes to campus.

They were more than accommodating to my mother's disability, unlimited coffee, good priced vending machine, average breakfast bar (buns, muffins, waffles, cereal). The one big thing for us was the WiFi didn't always stay connected so we ended up using our data from out plans while there... but if you're going thru champaign and need a hotel off the interstate and just plan on sleeping this is your place

Great breakfast, comfortable room, friendly staff. Internet did not work well.

Room 225 had roaches running across the floor and desk/cabinet. We were transferred to Room 226. No roaches appeared in that room. The bath tub barely drained. Needs servicing. The ice machine did not work Oct. 23. Mike was accommodating during the transfer.

The carpet in the room had a hole which was dangerous for tripping. The shower had mold. The refrigerator was cool but not cold even when we turned the temperature down. This hotel is in desperate need of renovation.

We were pleased to be able to stay overnight as we traveled from the east to the plains. The room was clean and did not have a musty or smoky smell, which was nice. The beds could have been made more neatly but were comfy. The toilet did not flush well and required attention during the stay and will need further attention prior to being used again. Desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The room was filthy! I had to put towels on the ground to walk. Heat register didn't work. They had broken tables outside of my room. I felt like I was on skid row. Almost slept in my car!

Located is convenient to get to, not far from highway exit. Room was decent to stay in for a few nights. The toilet wasn't working properly, notified front desk and asked if we could switch rooms or have someone fix it. Front desk came back to room to fix it, worked for awhile but then went back to the way it was. The worst part about the stay was that there was construction being done on the floor above that they started around 8 am everyday. Called to ask them to stop, which they did and then resumed their work around 10 am. Had previously stayed at a different Super 8 in Illinois and it was much better, so expectations were higher.

Breakfast timings should be increased from 5 am - 9 am to atleast till 10 am. Room was clean and had all basic amenities. Good for a night stay. Marketplace mall is close by and not too far away from campus. Though a car is preferred if you want to stay at this hotel. Free parking and free wifi is a good addition.

Overall this hotel was run down and had some clientele that were questionable. The room was dirty and run down even though it had obviously been renovated. It was loud and stunk. Even at a good price, I'm not sure id recommend it.

Although this hotel doesn't have a pool or fancy amenities, we thought it was great for the price! It was very clean, our room didn't smell like smoke, it had a fridge and nice tv, and the breakfast was convenient! They also had a good crib for us.

The hotel is tired and dated, but the room was clean. Breakfast was basic as in all these motels but at least there was something. Plenty of morning papers to go around. Slept great until a pig farmer drew up with his rug and parked outside my window. I spoke to the manager and he tactfully and successfully got the guy to move the animals to the other side of the lot.

The bed was one of the MOST comfortable I have had in a hotel and the room was very quiet. I was pleasantly surprised at the great value for the price of this hotel. The continental breakfast was ordinary at best but it was what it was billed to be. I would definitely stay again.

Very quiet and clean Nice big comfy bed and very nice front desk lady I enjoyed my stay

Room clean and comfortable. The hotel itself needs some updating, and breakfast was very plain and boring. We did not spend much time there and I don't think that I would stay there again.

Hotel is inexpensive, near shopping malls / stores, convenient location. Just 4 miles North of University Of Illinois campus. Great value for taking my son to U of I and setting up his Dorm room. Negative: Paid for a room with Queen bed but ended up with a Double bed. All other rooms were full. Hotel free breakfast was OK; orange juice, milk, cereal, toast, waffle machine, bananas, dounuts. Other hotel chains (Best Western, Holiday Inn) offered better breakfast and larger selection.

very good nice people clean room nice area convenient location

Very kind staff that provided excellent service. The bed was very comfortable.

The employees were nice. Great location. The price was right
