Lovely staff, clean rooms, beautiful building. However, avoid the restaurant, avoid ALL restaurants in the Amana Colonies unless you like heavy German food or deep fried everything. They could use a decent place to eat. Also, the hotel is an old mill so everything echoes. It can get very, very noisy. Still. I would go back. Lovely people, interesting area.

This lovely hotel is a unique historical site. Very interesting decor from the days that it was a woolen mill. The rooms are very modern and clean.

Valentines weekend
Stayed here for a fun valentines weekend. My husband and I had a great stay. The staff was nice, breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, and it was so fun to be so close to the Amana colonies. The building was historic but clean and updated at the same time. Overall it was a fantastic stay!
