Although I had a reservation, this hotel did not honor it at check in. They had purposely oversold the hotel and booted me to the Radisson down the street. I will NEVER stay at this Marriott and have canceled my trip to a Marriott in St Thomas later this summer.

I enjoyed my stay. They had a library in the lobby with a whole section of Iowa writers. Lovely decor.

Beautiful hotel, friendly, helpful staff, very comfortable bed. Pricey

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! The facility was very clean and the room was comfortable. All staff we encountered were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend!

My sisters and I meet each year in Iowa City as this is a central location for both of us. This year we chose the Marriott Hotel. We were very satisfied with the service. We requested a refrigerator and a microwave and several folding chairs so we would have a place to sit rather that sitting on the bed. I realize a hotel room with a suite room would have been a better choice, but we were very pleased with the prompt service to make our stay more comfortable. The beds and cleanliness of the whole hotel were wonderful. Staff was very accommodating.

had mommy-daughter time with my daughter who attends Iowa. Convenient location, parking garage a plus, and room was very comfortable. My only comment with a negative connotation was that it took a while for hot water in sink in bathroom. Otherwise - great stay

We had an additional charge for parking. It was only $8 but with what we paid for the room for one night, and we are award members , that fee could have been waved. Clean rooms, TV remote's batteries needed to be replaced, and morning comp coffee in the lobby should be offered.

The location was perfect, and when I arrived, everything I needed was there for me. The staff was friendly and serviceable.

The view from our room was very nice, although we could not use the trails or patio because of seasonal flooding. They offered free refreshments at check in, and the hotel was very comfortable and modern. My only issue was that they did not tell us parking would be $8. Other than that, this is a higher end choice in the area that we recommend.

Location was excellent, just off I-80 while I was driving from NE to MI. Breakfast buffet was really good and reasonable at $13. Next door to a good microbrewery. Room was nice.

This is probably the nicest, cleanest, most odor free hotel room I've experienced. The comforters are white! It's as though they're emphasizing that they have nothing to hide. Only a couple of annoyances though; there is a parking charge. If you want internet access, that costs extra as well. But the air you breathe is free! No continental breakfast, either. No fridge in the room.

The room was very nice but they need to do a better job dusting the heat vent, I could see it just looking over at it from the bed. Also had issue w/ shower in the morning. I got in to warm water but within a minute it had become cold. We called the front desk and they said to let it run for a bit which worked but was a bit irritating. Good location with pool/hot tub and nearby restaurants.

The hotel is one of the nicer hotels in the area. It is a bit far from downtown Iowa City and the football stadium. The only negative thing is that there was some kind of sound that happened every few minutes all night. It was almost like a drumming sound but we thought it might have been the pipes in the building. It was very annoying and everyone in our room heard it throughout the night. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was very friendly.

We have stayed at the Coralville Marriott several times before. They really increased the prices for "family weekend" at the University which was frustrating. That aside, the restaurant was great and convenient, and the room was spotless. One other complaint is the lack of mini-frig in the room. There was a spot for one, but the cabinet was empty. That was frustrating especially given the cost of the room.

I stayed with some fellow alumni to catch the Hawkeye game. I was curious to check out the (relatively) new development in town and was very impressed. A great addition to the Iowa City/Coralville area. Very nice outdoor space with relaxing views of water.

Had a great hotel stay over the holidays. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. Loved all the holiday decor around the hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was nice and quiet.

I actually was able to get a room a couple days before we were going to Iowa...nothing was available, but then the Marriott opened up. We were amazed at what a NICE hotel it was. It was clean, quiet, and had wonderful amentities

We came from Pa. to attend the wedding of a family member and joined with other family members to celebrate. We also had an impromptu family gathering for breakfast at the hotel.

The hotel is wonderful. The library of Iowa authors is fantastic. Also the extra $20 for a concierge floor room is worth every penney!!!
