I recently stayed at the Marlane for a long weekend with my husband and son. We originally had a different place booked, but I came across the Marlane and although I am not very familiar with the area, it seemed like it was closer to everything than the original place I booked. I am so glad I switched! First, the location was perfect. It is only one block from the beach and boardwalk at the convention center end. There is a park across the street which has basketball and tennis courts and a nice playground. Since the boardwalk is so close you are close to all of the rides and activities on Morey's thres Piers, arcades, aquarium, escape rooms, and three waterparks. There are also many non-boardwalk restaurants within walking distance. Parking was right on site. There is a pool which we ended up not using since we went to the beach, but it looked well kept and was right outside. I never expect much from a hotel outside of a place to sleep and shower and for it to be clean. The room was perfect for what we needed. In fact the Marlane has so many things that make it better than just a clean bed, shower, and a great location. Our room had two queen beds, hair dryer and a safe, but also a stove top, dishes/utensils, a microwave, and a full size refrigerator. There was also maid service so if we wanted to have towels swapped out we could. There were some chairs just outside the room as well in case we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. The most striking part of our stay was the customer service. The owner, Lisa, is a pleasure! She lives on site. Right from check in you could tell that she truly wants the guests to enjoy their stay and that we could always contact her if we needed anything at all. She gets this across in a way that makes you know it is genuine not just a script. She informed us of a number of amenities available including: coffee and tea available in the morning until noon each day right outside the office and lemon water thereafter, ability to borrow beach chairs or boogie boards to take to the beach, and basketballs or tennis rackets for the courts across the street. She is a wealth of knowledge regarding local restaurants and activities in the area. I will definitely choose the Marlane next time we go to Wildwood.

My kids can go anywhere in the world, but they always choose Marlane. We been staying here for several years now and will never consider any other place to stay in Wildwood. The motel is spotless and the owners are wonderful. It’s close to the beach, boardwalk, convention center, tennis, and a playground. I love watching the sunset on the deck with a nice bottle of wine.

We reviewed the Marlane back in 2013 (in detail if you want to check it out) and have stayed here again and again. We will never be able to say enough about it. The most important thing to consider when staying here is that the owners (Lisa & Chris) treat you with such care and concern. It really is like staying with friends. Anyway, a few details that others may not mention is that there are so many "little touches" that add to the experience and that you won't get elsewhere. Also, Wildwood is known for it's history and Doo Wop back in the day so many motels are dated, but not here. They are so "modern" with all the latest updates that you would find in the best big name hotels. Anyway, it's our go-to spot and we always feel grateful that we can stay in the cleanest place in Wildwood!

A pleasant surprise in the heart of Wildwood! I travel a lot with my family due to college locations and AAU Basketball. I usually don’t sleep well away from home. The environment of this motel and helpfulness from the owners really makes a guest relax and enjoy their stay. The room was spotless and clean. The owner went above and beyond any other motel/hotel we have stayed in during the last 20 years. Accommodated us on parking and checkout time during our visit. Lisa also provided great hot spots for meals and things to do in the area. The best part of all is that the MarLane is located 1 block from boardwalk and Convention Center. I really look forward to visiting again soon.

Very nice motel overall. Great location where you can walk to boardwalk and also restaurants/ shopping/bars.Very nice people who run it. Clean rooms but small. The bathrooms are very small. I wouldnt recommend more than 2 to a room. We had 2 dbl beds in room. They do offer coffee and tea in lobby. Pool looked very clean. Would still recommend this motel.Wildwood is a great beach destination.

We stayed, unexpectedy, at the Marlane last weekend. We were visiting the area for Beach Jam and after some technical troubles with our tent, called the Marlane for a last minute reservation. Not only were they accommodating, they were able to offer us a customer loyalty rate since we stayed there about four years ago. Upon arrival, we found the room to be impeccable, bright and pretty. The pool was super warm and very clean, we loved using it after a long day on the boardwalk. The owners go above and beyond to be great people - even offering me safety pins when my daughter's brand new bathing suit strap broke. I seriously can not think of any reason to stay elsewhere. This will absolutely be my go-to place to stay in Wildwood,

I finally was able to book Marlene for a 3 night visit. It's books up fast! It's a small motel - rooms were small but space is adequate. I was there with my 2 teenagers. The rooms were very clean, hardwood floors, comfy beds, fridge/microwave in room, and a clear salt water pool. Coffee/tea available in the morning. The owners offered discount tickets to Morey's, beach chairs/tennis rackets available to use. I found it to be a safe, friendly and family orientated motel.

Let me start off buy saying I am sitting on the patio listening to a great band performing writing across the street. Its are last night here after 9 beautiful days. I have been coming to Wildwood ever since I was 9 and we have been staying at another place here in Wildwood and let me tell you we have found a home here at the Marlane. Lisa and Chris are great. They make you feel like family they go out of there way to make sure you are comfortable and happy and the staff is out of this world. Lisa and Chris dont change a thing and if you are reading this and are not sure about pulling the trigger to stay here you are making a big mistake. This place is family ran and family orientated so if that's not you keep looking. Lisa and Chris not sure if you guys know what you have in your girls and Steve. You have a awesome crew and the rooms are super clean. We will definitely be back. Actually we dont want to leave lol. Thank you guys for a wonderful trip. Buy the way you can walk to everything from here. Great location. Trust me just book it. Lol

We spent 4 great days/nights at the Marlane Motel during the last 4 days of June and have nothing but great things to say about the property and the owners. I think the small size is why it is so great. Larger places may have more amenities but you lose the personal feel. We have already marked our work calendars for days off next June to return. The location cannot be beat. A quick 5 minute walk to the boardwalk and numerous restaurants and stores nearby. We parked the car when we arrived and didn’t need to use it till we packed up and left. The room (2 beds, no kitchenette) was perfect for us. I can see wanting/using the kitchenette if we stayed longer, but for the 4 days we were not interested in cooking our own meals. I can definitely see the money saving appeal of that though. There was a mini fridge and microwave which worked fine. Room was clean and well appointed. It stayed cool with the AC. The beds were comfy, but I do realize everyone has their own preferences in that regard. The pool area was clean and there was always enough seating. We did use the sun deck in the evenings. I think what we liked the most were what we referred to as the ‘little things’. There are 2 chairs outside every room. We sat outside and read at times. There is a covered seating area in the front where they put out tea/coffee in the am and lemon water in the afternoon. There is another covered seating area in the back where there are 2 grills for guest use. There is a clothesline which we used every day. They also have a large quantity of beach chairs and boogie boards that can be taken to the beach. We even pestered Lisa many times looking for recommendations for dining/activities and she always answered happily. We eagerly await our return next year.

Rooms are very clean. The maid service is though when cleaning..staff is very courteous and professional...they make sure your happy with your stay with them...i wont stay anywhere else in wildwood. Dave
