Family time in Canyon Lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our kid's were entertained with the games and the exciting hikes to the river. The views were gorgeous and we felt refreshed from the quiet time and tranquility. We loved everything about the nature and the beauty of the property! I highly recommend this property!

Great location to Guadalupe tubing and Hill Country views

We had a great stay at the house. We wanted to stay a little further out into the Hill Country from where we normally stay in New Braunfels. We enjoyed our stay; views were amazing, and the location to tubing the Guadalupe was under a 10 minute drive. The house was clean and well maintained.

New Year’s Weekend

Good friends had a wonderful time relaxing and catching up at this beautiful home with a great view! We didn’t know we would have the best seat on the deck to watch the beautiful fireworks! We enjoyed our stay!

Everything is exactly as stated. We had a wonderful times. There was 11 of us and we had plenty of room. The house was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Loved everything about this trip.

Beautiful view, great place to float from!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property is clean, spacious and great for a family or group of friends. One thing to note is that only 2 of the bedrooms have doors. This would be really great for a girls’ weekend, and absolutely works for a family as well, just nice to know for those who are more private. We would recommend it and would stay there again. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with.

Great view

Place is nice, clean and quiet. The lawn needs to be mowing outside the extra equipment such as games and kayaks are not in good conditions. Me and my boyfriend loved the view and how peaceful the place was. The backyard has a huge stairs with access to the river pretty nice.

Family Spring break

The whole experience was great from booking to checking out. Joyce was great to deal with! The place was great and was exactly what was listed. The view was amazing from the house. We got a good workout walking down and up the private stairs to the river. The extra amenities like video games and foosball table was a bonus. We would book this place again!

Wonderful Place

From the very beginning, Lazy H Retreats was so easy to work with. They responded very quickly to inquiries. The house had everything we needed and was in a good location to everything we wanted to do. The stairway down to the river was amazing but there were ALOT of steps. Going down was easy, but coming up was a not as easy. Thankfully there are rest benches along the way back up!

Exactly as listed, clean, what you see is what you get. If it looks "for you" on the photos, just book it. Those stairs to the water are way longer than they look btw!

Fabulous Time in the Treetops

We loved our stay here. Home was exactly as advertised. Clean and plenty of space for our crew of 6. Bonus points for the foosball table as well as the poker chips, numerous board games and PS4. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and the outside BBQ pit came in handy. We went into Greune, Schlitterbahn and spent time on the lake. Nothing was more that 20 minutes away and we really enjoyed the local restaurants. There are some real gems here. Would definitely return for another stay.

Thoroughly Enjoyed

Had a great time. House was very clean and as I had a group of ten age football players I spent a lot of time in kitchen preparing to feed a hungry bunch. The kitchen was great and well stocked and eating area was perfect for all of us to sit down and enjoy meals together. View is great and deck areas provide lot’s of space to enjoy the scenery. All in all wonderful time and looking forward to out next adventure here. Folks at Laird’s were great and immediately responsive to the couple of requests we had. Thank you Laird’s. Cheers, Bob

Whitewater Amphitheater

The house is very spacious & comfortable & has everything you need. It could use some work on the deck as some of the boards are rotting out & could become unsafe. Also the cleaning was not the best . The bathroom downstairs had some mold & the ceiling fans were dirty. Also the grill on the deck was horrible. If these things were fixed it would be a great place to stay

Beautiful & Relaxing

This property was just what we need to get away from the city. It has a nice pathway directly to the river. It is steep! so be careful. But it is very beautiful. The house is decorated cozzy. It rained during our stay unfortunately. However, there is a covered patio that worked just fine. It is also a few minutes away from Canyon Lake. There is a binder w/ all of the local information. 10/10 would stay again & recommend to others. Definitely need to go back when it is not raining 💖
