"We used a car service transportation service from and to Charleston Airport. Uber to & from Plantation. Walked around most of the Historic District from the Hotel, a 30 minute walk to almost any where in historic district. Many casual & nice dining restaurants nearby. Only concern is we were charged a Daily Valet Service for 2 days for never having a car. Disheartening for a great trip & location until we were at airport reviewing our invoice. Called front desk and issue was supposedly resolved, only to realize 2 weeks later they recharged me for the valet parking."

"The keyless entry worked flawlessly. The property was secure and well lite. We entered the first floor condo to be greeted by a handwritten note and gift bag, which included a bottle of wine and chocolate. Nice touch! The condo was clean and the furniture was comfortable. Loved the dual-showerhead action. I didn't care for the shampoo/conditioner product - left my hair feeling dry so I was glad I brought backup. The body wash was fine. I didn't use the washer/dryer, but they provided everything you need in case you wanted to do laundry. I especially loved that they didn't expect you to take out the trash or load the dishwasher!! Bonus touch! Appreciated the keurig coffee and espresso machines with multiple choices of pods, sugar & creamer on site! Walking distance (1/2 mile) to Leon's Poultry & Oysters!! Delish!!! There is construction going on in the neighborhood, but once you're in the condo it is peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We didn't need it, but they do have a parking "tower" on the property. We loved our stay and would recommend The Iris"
