Peaceful and spacious.
Spacious half double. Quiet and seldom heard people on the other side. Visited the horses, pigs and dog. Love that this is a rescue. Nice king sized bed. More spacious than we had expected in the half. It was clean and neat. We did not have a thermostat on our side and were overly cold. We were able to discuss this with the owner and she addressed our concern. Location was great for us as our son lives in the next town.

First experience with a VRBO
We loved being on a horse ranch and rescue. It was quiet and the horses were beautiful. The owners were generally accessible and were very cordial and helpful. We enjoyed the king size bed and now have to get one for home. It was very clean. It was quite cold and we had no way to adjust the thermostat. The owner did contact the people staying in the other half of the house to change the setting. We also left a pair of pants which she offered to mail to us. We thought that was very kind. The location was great for us as we have family in nearby Joshua. We learned from the owner that the money from renting the VRBO is used to support the horse rescues. LOVE THAT! It was a good experience. We don't have prior experiences with which to compare this one.

Backyard of my dreams
I was a little disappointed to learn upon arrival that this is a home split into two. The only issue of that was the occasional noise of a sliding closet door or something and I didn't love that there were doors closed but not locked, however couldn't be opened, that separated the two. However communication with the owner went well for any questions, aside from not receiving specifics for checkin/checkout until I asked. The backyard was so beautiful!! Gaining access to the barn to pet all the horses, dogs, pig, goats. So much fun and so peaceful to sit outside. Not far from town but far enough for that country feel.I would definitely stay again!! There is also an RV towards the back of the property that I would choose to stay in as well.

Loved the horses
The little house was great. We especially loved walking around on the ranch, getting to see lots of horses, a lama, a pig, donkeys, cats, dogs, bunnies, ducks, and more. Very peaceful
