The restaurant was nice and the bar was quite busy often… On the main level there is a nice sitting area with Espresso coffee make in working areas with power as well as different sofas and a large television wall with different stations running for news and sports . The rooms were nicely appointed. Bed good, sheets nice. Get a corner room. The bathroom was nice. In the bathroom it was spacious, I never like the tub shower combo but a lot of hotels have not moved to just the simple shower stall… Separately the water pressure from the shower head was ok , not great. The gym on property is not very good but they do offer a guest passes for Equinox… It was called while I was in Boston and the gym is about three or four blocks away so it’s a little chilly to get over there and it’s one of the more dated equinoxes within their chain. Overall it’s a good hotel and a great location… One bonus is they offer free overnight shoeshines.

Excellent stay. However no onsite parking may be a minus. 55$ per day for valet.

Comfortable beds. Staff was exceptionally kind especially Chris the bellman. Loved the self serve espresso machine.

The staff was very friendly with excellent customer service. The gym was a bit small but clean. And the elevator was small and slow but the stairway was kept clean and accessible.

Close to restaurants, downtown, easy to get around and a very friendly staff.

They gleefully describe their gym facilities as featuring a “prison style boot camp” workout, which is so laughably/unfunnily tone deaf I’m just impressed it was green lit by rooms of people whose sole job is brand culture and guest experience.

Location was convenient. It has way walkability around Boston. The hotel was quiet with very little street noise.

This is my go-to hotel when staying in Boston. It's clean, service and amenities are great, and it's within walking distance to everything you'd want to see and do in the city.

Exceptional friendly, helpful, and responsive staff. Great location. Clean and comfortable room.

Tv channels are a joke. Room and location is so so

Great location! Great beds! Great Bar! Other than that not too much to say... other than the price is way too high for the hotel quality!

This is a very comfortable hotel with all of the amenities. All of the staff were excellent and my room was very comfortable. I look forward to staying in for my future trips to Boston.

Great hotel, large room, close to Back Bay Station. Very convenient.

Service is not up to the level hotel claims to have. So called complimentary water (tiny bottles) was in the room only once out of 3 days. When asked for comb (my wife left her hair brush at home), it was promised but never delivered. On a good note the location of the hotel is good, building is the former PD headquarters, which is cool.

The Loews Boston Berkley Hotel is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Back Bay. If you want to be in the heart of Boston, there is no better place to stay than Loews Berkley Boston! We arrived early in the morning on the date of arrival and we were offered a courtesy early check in. This was very welcomed as we were able to begin our day the moment upon arriving in Boston. The room was spacious and clean (although I wish it would have had a separate walk-in shower as the website photos depicted). The hotel is located parallel to shopping on Boylston Road and Newbury Street; an easy walk to and through the Boston Commons; conveniently located and within walking distance to Fenway Park (which we did walk there and back for the amazing Lady Gaga concert) and finally, accessible to running routes provided by the hotel (we chose the 4.3 mile route)! During our stay, we ran into a friend visiting from NYC with her dog - she decided to extend her stay and stay with us for a few days making for a wonderful trip and thanks especially to the Loews staff for being pet friendly and providing nice puppy amenities upon letting them know of our room addition. The on-site restaurant, Precinct, as the hotel was a former police station, was convenient and a nice atmosphere to relax in the little downtime had. On our last day, we ran into a lengthy brunch at Stephanie's on Newbury and the hotel staff graciously allowed us a later check out than usual. This accommodation was so very appr
