Nearly Main Manor 4BR/3.5BA Home in Downtown Blowing Rock

***Great Holiday Spot - Road Access - No Storm Damage.  The Town of Blowing Rock is Open and Thriving!***

In town convenience, walk to town location, and yet quietly tucked away, Nearly Main Manor will surprise and delight you!  This 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home combines quality construction with old world style.  It was built in 2001 but you feel the nostalgic charm the minute you walk through the door.  Incredible attention to detail from the antique doors and doorknobs to the wainscoting from Duke Chapel.  Beautifully landscaped with terraced gardens and grassy yard areas. When approaching the home, there is a lovely greenery-draped garden arbor and natural rhododendron railings that lead to the multi-level fenced-in backyard.  Level parking for 3 cars and only a couple of steps to enter.

Perfect for an extended family group with multiple gathering spaces. Holidays of any sort would be delightful here.    The main level features a large living room, quiet reading room, and light airy sunroom.  Also on this level is the well equipped kitchen, dining room, an office with printer, full size washer/dryer, guest bedroom and bath, and master bedroom and bathroom.  Off the sunroom is a south facing porch offering a winter view of the distant John’s River Gorge.  

Upstairs you will find two more spacious bedrooms and a full bathroom.  One bedroom offers a king bed and crib and a large closet.  The other bedroom is set up perfectly for kids with a bunk bed with a twin on the top and a full on the bottom and also a day bed, TV and closet.  

On the lowest level of the home is a large open den with a wrap-around couch, TV, DVD, and Xbox, and a half bathroom.  This level also offers access to the private landscaped back yard.  

Nearly Main Manor is an exceptional home in excellent condition and beautifully and tastefully furnished— you have found your personal mountain retreat steps away from the village!
