Cabin was very clean and surroundings were quiet. The host stocked the kitchen well with cooking tools. This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking to unwind and relax. I really loved the windows that let the natural light in. If I am ever looking to stay in the area again, this will be the first place I look.

The pictures and description are 100% accurate! What they don’t capture is how peaceful the space is surrounded by trees. The location felt so private but was only a few minutes from downtown Blacksburg. We will definitely stay here again!!

The Bird House is very spacious and brand new - was very nice! Comfortable king size bed, private, beautiful views and so close to VT. The only suggestion I would offer is have a pull out couch for those who want to have their Hokie spend the night with them while they are visiting.

The house was extremely impressive. Clean, comfortable, has everything you need and the modern finishes make this a cozy stay. The deck is awesome and the grill is easy to use. Tucked away in the woods where i could get peace and quiet, yet only 10 mins from downtown blacksburg.

Enjoyed our stay and served its purpose of spending a lot of time in Blacksburg (not in the rental). House was very clean. Well stocked kitchen(utensils, plate ware, glasses, etc). For the rate we paid for a weekend stay, we would have liked to have seen more of the house basics: facial tissues, paper towels, shower accessories like shampoo, body wash. These are low cost items that can go a long way in renter satisfaction.
