rooms are very modern and have good beds. The only thing is that they don't have a continental breakfast. other the that it is a good stay.

There was a roach in the shower when I went in to take a shower.

Standard room was worst. Dresser had one of 7 knobs, tv didn't work but was fixed, davenport was dirty, I would not sit close to it, I paid $10 more to move to room with refrigerator. This room was better as dresser had all the knobs. Davenport was dirty, not as bad as first one but still scary. Only room I've ever stayed where I thought of leaving but city was sold out. Bed was ok. Staff was nice.

The staff was friendly when we arrived. We found a German roach crawling on the counter in the room, and by morning there was a water puddle by the air conditioning. We told the staff upon lacing, and he just seemed line he didn't care.

Excellent service, friendly people, clean and safe

We were very disappointed with the Red Roof Inn. We have never stayed in a Red Roof Inn and won't in the future. We were there for a memorial service for my brother. My nephew, niece, their spouses, and our son stayed there because of my recommendation. My neice and nephew upgraded to a king sized bed, but their was no coffee in the room. There wasn't a refrigerator or microwave in their rooms either. The drink machine on the first floor was out of drinks, so our son went to the next floor on the elevator. He was stuck in the elevator, and when he used the call button for help, no one answered. Thank goodness it finally moved and the door opened.Cleanliness was the only thing that place had going for it. We were in a room with 2 double beds. One of the mattresses was so lumpy we couldn't sleep on it.There was no guide for the TV and when we tried to watch TV the programming was awful. There were very few shows to watch. There were no books to tell us about restaurants in the area. There was no breakfast served, even though there was an area to eat.It was one of the worst exs of our life.

The hotel was apparently a Scottish inn that identified as a red roof inn and was transitioning Overall the hotel was in good shape except the room they gave us didn't seem like it was expecting guests. The knobs were missing on all the drawers The dresser cabinet the tv sat on had drawers down the middle to put clothes in you couldn't open due to no knobs as well as no knobs on desk drawers. The doors on each side of the dresser where the fridge would go if you got one also had no knobs. No fridge or microwave. The lady at the desk explained that was because we booked online a dgit a standard room ? The second door on dresser with no knobs had an old keyed charge bar that she said she didn't know why it was in there because they don't use it. No Kleenex in place where Kleenex goes and when I washed my hands I reached for a towel realizing it wasn't there. There were two face towels folded up and sitting on back of counter that were wet for some reason but no clean ones or hand towels and had to go get some which is when the whole you booked online a standard room took places. I guess standard room depends on who's standard you're talking about. The room seemed like it wasn't meant to receive guests. Then the tub drain would back up. Oh well. It is what it is

We were traveling with our dog so we needed a pet friendly hotel. Dogs are included in the price of your stay here. The room looked like it had recently been refurbished. There was a nice hardwood floor, the bed was big and everything was very clean. The location is right off the highway in a quiet place.

Roaches in the beds and filthy rooms. Under construction but still-roaches in the bed is nasty. The front desk attendant was super nice and has a great sense of humor though.

We stay there just about every visit to the area. When initially looking for hotels to stay at in the area we tried at least four others in the same price range. They were all filthy pits that I wouldn't recommend to anybody. Scottish Inn is an outstanding hotel and very affordable, especially for the area it's in. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable.

The room smell dirty wasn't comfortable at all.they need to do better cleaning and update the rooms.

I would highly recommend this hotel looking forward to staying there again

Our room had not been cleaned when we went in; dirty towels, unmade bed, dirty carpet, and garbage. They gave us another room. People above us were running in room and too noisy all night even after I reported to main office. Elevator was broken; had to use stairs. They only had bread and cereal for breakfast; no fruit or oatmeal. Will not return there. Carpet was filthy and grotesque. Disappointed!

old and looks it. Elevator was a scary ride. Beds were old and wore out. Contl breakfast was old and sale.Stayed only one night thank god

The only thing that I missed was internet connection. I sew people with their own laptop, they succeeded, but the hotel computer was so slow it was unable to connect to any website. Unfortunately the person at the reception was not able to help. I hope next time it will work for me.

The hotel clerk had the key ready and a coupon available for a free meal upon our arrival. He was very friendly. We had a king size bed room. The room was clean and everything wads in order. If you want gesch front property this is not it but for the money it was a very adequate place to stay.

exactly what the other good reviews said.....it wasnt the taj majal but it was a clean comfortable room comfortably priced...i ll look for more scottish inns from now on!

Staff was very friendly. Thr room was clean. Would recommend if you are just passing through. If you are looking for a hotel by the beach this is not it its a good about 10 min drive from the beach.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean. Very close to the interstate and gave us easy access to shopping and eating establishments. Will definitely stay there on returns trips.

We stayed for a night and the hotel was great. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Close to casinos yet far away from busy city.
