Great home

This home was great to stay in. It had plenty of room for a large family, fishing from the dock was a blast. It was very well stocked with anything you could need. We are so grateful the owners are willing to share this home and will be back.

Perfect location and property to use as a base for hunting and fishing. Great views and after a day of fishing you get to come back to a cozy home that has all the amenities you need.

Amazing River Paradise!!

The pictures do not do this property justice!! It is a beautiful amazing property!!! We loved the house and cottage and dock and our kids thought it was best rental house ever!!! The screened in porch and beautiful dock are such relaxing areas. It is well located and a short distance to several boat ramps. We loved it so much and cannot wait to book again!!!

Excellent Experience

Overall, this property is amazing. The houses were so comfy and well stocked with everything that a family would need for any occasion. It exceeded my expectations. The experience, the two homes, the facilities, the surroundings, the cleanliness, the process was absolutely wonderful!!! The awesome porch inspired me to recreate that same design when I returned home! It was a 10 out of 5 stars!!

Duck Camp

Great place to stay for hunting in the area, the 2 separate houses gave us plenty of space to spread out. The boat landing beside the property was extremely valuable and time saving.

wonderful stay

Property had a ton of extra things to make the stay fun and easy. Grill, hammock, chairs on dock, spices to cook with, ect ect. The linens were plentiful and easy to locate. Tons of beds to sleep in. Great house for multi family trips, friends trips or business groups that benefit from the house and cabin split.

A Secret Gem

This gem created so many treasured memories for my family. It had plenty of space between the house and cottage which was fully loaded with all of our essential needs, the wrap around porch had plenty of seating and a hammock which was great for early mornings to watch the sun rise and a pier for fishing. I would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect river weekend!

This property was the perfect spot for a girl's getaway weekend! The location right on the water with the dock was perfect to enjoy coffee in the morning and float around all afternoon. The second cabin on the property was a great additional space. The property manager was extremely helpful and came over immediately when we couldn't figure out the AC in the second cabin. Also great location to get into the little downtown area for brunch and make a stop at the grocery store. Will definitely consider staying again if ever in the area in the future!

Great Family Getaway

Riverbend was perfect for our family with kids ranging from 6-13. It is truly a hidden gem on the Pungo River that was incredibly relaxing and offered tons of entertainment for the kids - boating, tubing, paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming. Loved the additional cottage space adjacent to the main cabin. Lots of screened in porch space for outdoor eating or reading in the hammock. The house had everything we needed and more and can’t wait to go back!

Very private, great views, close to other areas to visit and eat, RELAXING. Great Walks w/our dobe.

Clean, Plenty of everything, enjoyed reading books on hand, great beds. Porches were fantastic with views. Surrounding area great for long walks.

Relaxing and Peaceful

We brought our three sons and three friends to these cabins for a 12th birthday celebration. The boys were outside the entire time and no electronics! The spot was very peaceful and we didn't leave the property once -- had everything we needed. Pictures are very accurate and the wrap around porch is a fantastic place to waste the time.

PEACE AND REST

We were looking for a place to visit with friends from home. We live on a boat at Dowry Creek Marina and it would be difficult for us to all stay on it. The home was beautiful...clean...well equipped. The views were breath taking. Such peace and a wonderful to rest in a very hectic world. Will be doing this again.
