Let's acknowledge upfront that Super 8 is a lower-tier chain. So I am basing my ratings and comments with that fact in mind. Pluses: very friendly staff (they brought complimentary snacks to our room!); larger room than anticipated; very clean bathroom; refrigerator in room. It seems to me that they are in the process of upgrading things, a bit at a time. Minuses: insufficient lighting leaves the room very dark; not really any dining options within walking distance.
Just don’t go here. It was trashy. There was a blood stain on the bed spread. I did’t stay and tried to get my reservation canceled. I don’t know if it was but I left anyway.

The phone didnt even work. The room was filthy. Staff waa hard to identify and rarely at desk. Charged my credit card 2 nights when i only stayed 1. Have yet to get ahold of hotel. I call and noone ever answers. I paid the extra money for trip insurance and cant seem to get refund from anyone. Id rather sleep on a park bench than stay at this facility ever.

Hotel took a while to check me in because they said that the Orbitz card was declined. Then they gave me keys to a room where someone was already staying. Once we were assigned an unoccupied room it was acceptable but there was some mildew/light mold on the bathroom ceiling. Otherwise was acceptable and staff was friendly.
