The only place I like to stay when I'm in Bakersfield and sometimes I'm there 2-3 days a week, 2 weeks a month. Close to great restaurants...and Dewars. Staff is always on point!

So the hotel lobby and bar area are beautiful. The rooms leave you with something to desire. The "executive" aren't worth the additional money so just get a standard room. The hotel is clean the rooms decor is meeeh.... The best part about this hotel was the staff! They are amazing... Brandon is the best bartender, Fernando and Eric where amazing and so was the in hotel Starbucks staff. The staff made my trip.

The hotel is extremely nice right when you walk in you will notice how new everything is the bar is cool and the restaurant was extremely nice as well only complaint is that we could not add a roll away bed due to safety issues great place would love to stay there again

Front desk at night were kind of rude. We arrived late and I don't think they liked that. Restaurant staff the morning of the 20th were awesome. Very kind and helpful.

I love staying here and gave the hotel a high rating. But the last two times I've stayed there, there have been events at the convention center. I was told the hotel parking lot was only for guests of the hotel only and not for event goers who are not guests of the hotel. That may be the rule, but non guest event goers park there anyway and fill the lot. The hotel had an attendant at the driveway entrance checking people as they entered the parking lot. I said I was a hotel guest and he sent me thru to park. He didn't look at a list of names or anything else to verify this...so what's the point having him there! I mentioned this to the woman at the desk upon check-in. I told her the lot was completely full and I had to sit in my car and wait for someone to leave so I could take their spot and I noticed others doing the same. She said she thought the attendant should have a list or some way to verify people who were parking were hotel guests. She told me the hotel was not sold out either. Interestingly enough, the convention center has their own parking structure...go figure.

In town for son's graduation and this hotel made everything so convenient for all!!!

The fire alarm went off I had to walk 6 flights of stairs back to the front of the hotel to be to told it was a false alarm I was so irritated then i order room service an the container had a weird smell spent 29.00 on sum food I didn't even eat

Great hotel accommodations. We were in town to soend Thanksgiving with family.

There were huge CDC trailers set up in the parking lot taking up about 60 parking spaces that were closest to the hotel's doors. I didn't get back to the hotel until 10 pm both nights, the lot was full and I had to park at the very end of the lot which is about a quarter mile away from the doors. Why didn't they set the trailers at the end of the lot and save the closer parking spaces for guests.

It was a great hotel. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, the one of the beds were broken and the hotel was booked. But overall, it was a great experience and it's 15 to 20 minutes from everything in the city.

Everything was as good as expected. The front dest staff was not knowledgable enough though. For shopping and restaurant information, she gave it all wrong.

We stayed at the Bakersfield Marriott during a soccer tournament. It was so nice to have a relaxing, comfortable stay between soccer games.

Hotel was very nice for the money and located next to the convention center. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend for anyone.

We got a fantastic rest here. It deserved Marriott's name!

Hotel staff were friendly and greeted us immediately. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Also, it was close to both the downtown area, as well as the freeway.

Staff is great and attentive. Food was good and room service came in a timely fashion. Only complaint would be that they need to update the pillows in the room I was in.

Overall good experience with this hotel. No complaints. Staffs were good. Its clean and comfort. Good for an overnight stay.

If you're too tired driving on Highway 99, this is a good resting spot.

Comfortable , safe, great, the was reasonable price perfect location .
