Simply Wow! A magical location surrounded by lush gardens with beautiful lake views, a dock with many hammocks and stairs to access the water. Highly recommend this place and I look forward going back.

Yayum Bacalar is a beautiful place to stay! The direct access to the water is ideal as we saw many other lodging options did not have this. The staff was helpful and very responsive via WhatsApp (we used Google translate to message back and forth in Spanish). The location was great- it was far enough on the end that it was a quiet location. But close enough to walk to all of the restaurants and bars.

The Tapir and Ibis rooms over the lake are gorgeous! but the palapa roof makes them very hot and the A/C is not powerful enough to cool them … pillows could be replaced, the staff on site are very friendly and accommodating. Overall great place to stay, just no frills…

Really lovely accomodation in great location at the lagoon. Kayaks and bicycles were included. Really awesome! Some of the furnishings are a bit worn (for the price a small minus point) and the bicycles have never been serviced, which is a bit sad, since they are offered and often used. But we can absolutely recommend the place!!!!!!!

Escogí el hotel por dos razones - amenidades y tranquilidad (solo adultos). Las amenidades eran muy buenas y la disfrutó mucho el primer día. Paty nos recibió y era muy profesional y amable. Sin embargo, el segundo día fuimos al muelle y la enargada tenía su familia ocupando el muelle con menores de edad. Tenían bocina con música y una hielera llena de bebidas alcoholicas. Cuando quejamos dijeron que iba a solo ser 'un rato'. Despues de un par de horas, fueron a seguir tomando en la mesa donde esta la recepción. De igual manera, el inodoro tenía fuga desde que llegamos. Le dijimos y lo 'arreglaron' pero seguía tirando agua. Ya ni le comunicamos más porque estaban tomando. Esperaba mucha tranquilidad en este lugar y fue una decepción grande. Es una pena porque la amenidad esta muy bonita.

Excelente atención de los colaboradores, hace falta dar mantenimiento a las bicicletas, pero en general es una gran opción para quedarse a Bacalar.
