had room moved for "motel like" outside unit to main building unit which was much nicer. The outdoor entrance units were small and not nice.

Staff very helpful with questions about Austin. Very good free breakfast. Refrigerator and microwave and Keurig in room. Price was reasonable. I would stay there again.

This hotel was a quick taxi ride to Rainey and 6th street. Very nice breakfast buffet and bar for the evening.

Loved the vibe, room design, and furniture. And enjoyed reading my book with my feet dipped in the jacuzzi.

A group of us stayed here for the location & free breakfast in the mornings. It is very close to downtown with plenty of other activities nearby. Alec, I believe a manager, was very helpful prior to check in & during check in. He helped us get luggage out of one room and into another room. All the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the attached restaurant The Blue Moon Grill, very fun atmosphere and great food. Our main focus was the hot tub since it washed away all the tension we had. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great place to stay, staff members were nice and very clean to stay.

This hotel was our backup plan, and it was the BEST back up plan EVER. We had initially booked a hotel a few blocks down and it was so bad, we immediately canceled our reservation and booked it with Best Western because it was nearby. The hotel is lovely! Very well decorated, staff is so friendly and nice, the facilities are clean, modern setting. The room was SUPER nice and comfortable, very clean, no weird smells, perfect lighting. It was such a great place to stay and for a very affordable price. I loved it! We had two of our dogs with us and the pet fee was MUCH more reasonable than the other fees at nearby hotels (we called around.) Overall, I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel! Best Western Austin City will undoubtedly be my first pick the next time I'm in town.

Fantastic friendly welcome and very comfortable stay! Thank you for accommodating my visiting kids....we had a great time! Love the large layout of the hotel....had a resort feel...enough rooms spread apart from the main lobby area for that quiet and serene hide-a-way hotel feel! Awesome and very helpful staff members and great breakfast!

Hotel was clean (except for la cucaracha in room) - They seemed to be short of housekeeping staff because we checked in after 3:00 and our room wasn't quite ready! Close to down-town (but not in walking distance) - Great breakfast buffet served in adjoining restaurant/club - Outdoor pool looked nice BUT didn't have time to enjoy it - Would stay there again when revisiting Austin!!!

Older property recently remodeled, rooms were nice, decorated in a modern design, side chair and work table very good. Adequate electrical outlets, nice TV and coffee pot in the room ( Starbucks is across the street). Bed, like a lot of mid priced hotels, pretty hard for my taste. It is on the freeway so there is some highway noise but not terrible. It is connected to a restaurant and a blues bar offering food then live music every night beginning at 10PM, food service until midnight and the bar open until 2, not a typical arrangement. Since it is an older property some rooms open to the outside while others open into a closed hall way. It requires you to walk outside under a covered walk to move from one hall to another and each hallway entrance requires you to use your room key. Presents some problem moving around the hotel.

Our stay was great. The hotel was very nice, staff was was nice as well. Hotel was easy to get to and had a lot to do around the area. Would recommend taking a trip to Congress St. The pool here is very nice too.

Very friendly staff: always a personal touch, perfect location, great wifi... Will come back. Don't change :))

Hotel was great . Beds very comfortable. The only that could have been better is the water pressure in the shower. Overall stay and location of hotel was great.

The hotel had really just opened so I think the Wifi kinks were being ironed out on the fly (was really hard to maintain a connection). Everything else was great though. The staff was awesome and they seemed to think of everything!

Hotel wasn't far from the center of Austin. But not within walking distance. Pool was under construction. Hotel was very clean.

I stayed here for one night while passing through. I had a few things I wanted to see in Austin for my first visit and this hotel was a short car ride to nearly everything!

The restaurant/bar was great. Live entertainment was a plus. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent The pool was cold and not as nice as picture. Perhaps mid March was too soon to expect different. No one was using it for any length of time.

The hotel was very clean and had a great bar. The breakfast was delicious - the Texas shaped Waffles were definitely fun! The only downside was the location - there were not many activities that were walking distance, but it was a cheap cab ride. Would stay here again!

I've come to trust Best Western to provide an affordable, clean, well appointed room - and this stay was no exception. Made the reservation super last minute but price was still very reasonable. Staff was really friendly and helpful upon check-in. And the decor was cute/updated which is always appreciated. I headed out to downtown Austin right when I arrived (which is about a ten minute drive) but was told there was a restaurant/bar/live music available in the hotel nightly. Also, free breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.
