I love the location, the set up and layout of the hotel, the attentive staff, the great attitude of the staff- if theyre busy and/stressed they dont pass that negative feeling on. Accountable staff @front desk. Suggest: The parking lot could be structured where there are more spaces near the front entrance. A fridge /microwave in king sz rooms. Cleaner bedding area and tables, carpet.

Convenient to local attractions, unique historical displays about Biltmore within the hotel that were very interesting.

It was all good we have no complaints. Everyone was nice and professional.

Great location. Condition of the room was tired and needed up keep. Paint on door frame damaged etc. The bed was comfortable but room very small.

Only half the hotel is renovated, which is misleading when you book it. They show pictures of nice new clean rooms, but we were given an old outdated dirty room with a dirty towel laying on the floor in the bathroom. The room description said it included a mini fridge and microwave, but there wasn’t one, so they brought them up. Not what I paid for. Desk staff were not helpful, charged us for the room when we had already paid through Orbitz, so now we have to get that sorted out. They didn’t even give us cookies when we checked in. Horrible hotel and staff.

Water main break caused a day without water. Even though it was not there fault they could have handled it a little better. Staff were shuttling water from the pool to fill toilets so there was some discomfort in managing that aspect of the stay. Not much price difference between cold continental breakfast (not free) and hot breakfast. It is a nice hotel and the staff were very pleasant.

Staff is very nice , and helpful here. Love the location to Biltmore Estates - where we were spending the day.

Exceptionally nice and helpful. They had soap with lavender in it and my wife is allergic to lavender. When I asked the nice lady at the desk if they had any other type she said no but located a different kind at a nearby hotel. She retrieved soap in abundance and even delivered it to our room.

The hotel was beautiful and it was in the perfect location for visiting the Biltmore Estate. We were exhausted after the tour and having the hotel so convenient was a plus for us. We will stay again at a Doubletree by Hilton on future trips.

An absolutely great hotel: the staff was friendly (from the desk staff to the clean-up crew), it was an extremely clean and up-to-date facility and we felt at home from the minute we arrived until our reluctant departure. We'll definitely return, no doubt about it. Our tea cup poodle had a freak-accident at the hotel's back doorway & had to be rushed to the nearest pet hospital (Wolf). The desk staff found not only a fine hospital, but went to the trouble of printing out directions for us. Later on that night and the next day, the staff asked how our little "Peep" was doing. How thoughtful of them, as they seemed especially busy at that particular time. I wish i could remember names... the young man (in the middle of the night) had on a plaid shirt, short black hair & square black rimmed glasses--great personality. There was a tall black man who was quick with info about the surrounding area. There were many more, including the female cleaning staff members, who were ready to help at any time, day or night. Also, I had a lovely conversation with your maintenance man (ex-Navy, around 70) who stopped to ask how our stay was coming along. I had a long talk with him about his job at the hotel; he had an easy smile and explained how he came to work with you and how much he enjoys it.

Fun time will come back to the hotel. Good food . The staff was great.

The staff were great at this hotel. The woman working at the coffee/snacks counter gave me rubber bands when she saw I was struggling with a poster I was carrying at check-in. When I checked out, one of the men working behind the desk went to the back lobby for me because my cab had mistakenly gone there. Everyone was great. The place was clean, inviting, and the smell of chocolate chip cookies was there to greet me.

The staff at this hotel was phenomenal! We arrived around 9:30pm with 4 children eager to go swimming. The pool closes at 10. The front desk personnel called engineering and asked them to keep the pool open another hour. The result was four very happy children and two happy moms. The staff was always very happy to appease the children with "DoubleTree cookies", too. I think they went way over the regular alotment of those cookies, but again creating four happy children. Any parent knows when you have happy children you have happy parents. My oldest says we cannot stay anywhere but at a DoubleTree wherever we go after visiting this hotel. Outstanding experience!

The breakfast buffet was great with made to order omelets, fresh fruit and other great choices. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful. However, our room wasn't cleaned after our first night's stay, and the telephone to the main desk wasn't working either. Someone promptly supplied us with towels and got the telephone working., .
