We completely enjoyed our stay! The hotel is well taken care of with the best beach in the area! The staff was mostly courteous except for one front desk member and a spa staff member. I would go back and stay at this hotel again!

Beautiful beach but palapas to reserve is a nightmare!!

I go to Aruba almost every year and I always stay at Holiday Inn because of very good location very nice and reasonably priced hotel and very professional staff.

The hotel is not the Ritz but it’s quite fine for a beach vacation when you are basically in your room just to sleep. Right on the gorgeous Palm Beach. Every morning they provide free classes-tai chi, Pilates, yoga-by great instructors. Staff are lovely. Lots of restaurants, shopping across the street. I would stay there again.

Great ocean view room (although I had to change rooms after originally being placed in a ground floor side room in the Sea tower — the music from the next resort was deafening). Not happy that many neighbors were smoking on their decks but I guess there’s not much staff can do. Would like more restaurants open at night. Only ate at Seabreeze during the evenings which was good but would like more variety. (Pizza place said the oven was broken when I called). Beach space is limited unfortunately - that is the biggest issue in my eyes that would motivate me to go elsewhere. Otherwise a pleasant hotel experience overall. Staff very nice!

Purchased a double bed at a higher price and at check in they insisted I ordered a king bed. I was traveling with my sister so hence the double bed... we were given a double bed but wasn't pleasant about it.

Front desk and concierge staff need hospitality training.

This hotel was beautiful and had great beachfront property. The real star was the man that ran the activity concierge booth. Very knowledgeable and knew the trends well enough hat he predicted that an opening for a fully-booked excursion would happen. We were able to partake in some great activities that made our trip thanks to him. I wish I could remember his name because he was the real MVP.

I loved my stay overall. The hotel has a great location close to shopping, restaurants. Nice selection of restaurants at the property and the food is great as well. One of the best pizza I’ve had and I’m from NYC so have had my share of great pizza. Staff is very friendly, overall amenities are good and the hotel has everything you need. Would recommend a stay

I booed a 5 night vacation through Orbitz to the Aruba Holiday Inn. I requested a King bed and when I arrived, I was given a room with 2 double beds. I went back to the Main desk and was told the hotel was booked and need to return on Monday at 11 am, to see if I could change rooms. On Monday at 11 am, I again went to the front desk and was now told the Manager was in a meeting and to come back later....really... Then, they started to blame Orbitz, stating they are a third party. I answered Orbitz is getting the customers for Holiday Inn and any room requests made by Orbitz should be acceptable. Obviously, third party bookings are not what Holiday Inn wants, but they have no problem accepting payment. Why should I have to spend time on my vacation trying to correct a hotel issue? The Main desk could have cared less about a customer concern or providing any resolution. If Holiday Inn was interested in providing the best possible customer experience, they would have taken my request on Sunday, and had the Manger contact me instead of repeatedly telling me to come back. What kind of customer service organization successfully operates in that manner? I will definitely be returning to Aruba, but not to the Holiday Inn. It was almost impossible for my wife and I to sleep together; however, in a effort not to ruin our vacation over a room, we preserved. Needless to say Holiday Inn, instead of making me a promoter of their business has turned me into a detractor.

Holiday Inn was beyond our expectations. Resort was beautiful! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here!

We were dissapointed by the exterior facade compared to all surrounding hotels. The faded lime green paint scheme is very 90's, and the hotel looks and feels like it hasn't been renovated in 20 to 30 years. Hallway carpets smelled musty and rooms had cramped bathroom door barely clearing toilet bowl. Staff was rude (woman at towel shack snapping fingers at me to get my attention) as well as concierge telling us to go to a restaurant on Sunday when almost everything is closed. Biggest issue had was during check-in when front desk gave me someone elses name to charge room expenses on, including check out dates ending on earlier date. Save up a little more and go elsewhere such as Marriot or Hyatt.

Hotel is right on the beach and very close to shopping and food. Great location.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn resort in Aruba. I am a single parent who took my three children, ages 21, 19, and 16 with me to celebrate my oldest's college graduation and Christmas. We had a blast! There was plenty to do and this hotel is situated within walking distance to restaurants and clubs, with plenty of shopping available. We also had a great time taking a UTV excursion and set sail on a catamaran which stopped at three locations for snorkeling. We rented kayaks and paddle boards. Our room had a partial ocean view which was beautiful and the room was comfortable and spacious enough for all of us. We even had enough room for a rollaway bed so everyone slept comfortably. I had decided to utilize the all inclusive feature which I think was wise with older kids who wanted to drink and eat all day. The only disadvantage is the limited restaurant options which can get a bit tedious, but the food was fantastic. I do wish the restaurants offered more chicken and vegetarian options, most menus were mostly fish dishes. I love fish, but I also tend to have health issues when consuming too much fish so this was a bit of a problem to manage. But overall, great hotel, wonderful staff....look up ADOLF at the Seabreeze restaurant! He is an excellent server and makes you feel so special, like you are the only vacationer on the island! The rooms were very well kept and the beach side bathrooms were always maintained and spotless. Excellent staff! Book it now!

Great location, near everything. Can walk everywhere in the Palm Beach area.

Beautiful Location on the beach. Easily walkable to all restaurants and stores. Friendly and accommodating staff.

7 stories high, close to the beach, that's the ticket. I've stayed at some of the other high rises and it takes forever to get from your room to the beach. This is easy in and easy out to the beach. Rooms are good, service is good, Very little room to comment on what could be improved so I'll add some here. The lottery system for the beach huts is flawed very hard to get close to the water, also they play favorites on who gets the best huts. Casino is weak at best. Locals take all of the promotional spots. Hotel guest should get priority seating.

I just returned home today from my stay here and immediately wanted to write a review. My stay at the Holiday Inn was awesome! This resort is in a perfect location to the "strip" for some shopping and fun while also having access to the 3 pools and 2 jacuzzis that are the only thing between the resort and the beach! There is always something to do here whether you want to stay back at the hotel and hangout in the casino or lay out on a hammock outside. This resort was great and my fiancé proposed during our sunset dinner on the beach. He did this with the help of the sea breeze restaurant staff! A big thanks to the entire resort staff for always having a smile and being the nicest people, taking the time to help and talk to everyone!! Definitely will be back in future

We requested an ocena view with a balcony and kingsize bed. We got a double bed room, with a "balcony" and view of a roof. We had to upgrade for $400 to get what we originally requested. The staff was great, espcially the concierge. Very freindly and helpful.

After a slight problem checking in ( key card problems) we explored this large resort- restaurants very pricey but great food and service- better to explore the Palm Beach area for lunch and dinner - Arawak center with about 12 restaurants 10 min walk- Beach is large, clean, with palm huts and 2 bars the whole layout is easy and convenient - Our room was clean although AC could have been better! One weird thing is a lottery to obtain the palm hut (palapas) you want - everyone lines up at 4pm , get a number then wait for the kid to pick numbers out of a bingo ball machine- in your number is called, you line up again to pick your hut number - you then have up to 10:30 am next day to put your towels out to confirm or they will give it away - whole system could be better and more efficient - but its Aruba so......
