I was a guest at this hotel on July 23rd, and checked on July 24. I left an item in the room, and called to confirm that I did leave it in the room. I was transferred to housekeeping - I left a voice-mail with details of what I left and my room number. A day later someone returned my call; they left a voice-mail, as I wasn't able to answer, confirming that my item was found. I returned the call and the person and I talked about what I left and how I'd like to get it back (pick up or delivery); this person told me that someone would call me back to take my address for mailing, as I was an out of state guest. No one called, and two days later I called again. Left a voice-mail and someone called me back. They said, again, that someone would call to take my address. A week later, I had not heard back, and called again. Was transferred to housekeeping, left a voice-mail, and this time I never heard back. I called again on August 4rd and left another voice-mail. Someone called me back the following day and told me that my item was not found. I explained that I have a voice-mail from July 26th confirming that it was found, and I have been waiting on someone to call me to get my address. This girl then said "uuuhhh I don't know." I asked "what don't you know?" She said "we didn't find it, so I don't know." I said fine, thanks, and hung up. My item was found, they called to confirm that it was found, yet I never heard back regarding the shipping details. I travel to D.C. monthly and was willing to pick it up (out of the way, but whatever); however, I can't pick up something that magically disappeared. Surely, what kind of service is this? Was my item lost in the care of housekeeping or stolen? In any case, this is poor service. I'm displeased with the outcome of how my issue was handled.

Without doubt a very nice location. Close to the marina, US Naval Academy and many shops, pubs and restaurants. The rooms although renovated still showed their age.We had 2 rooms but they were different in size. One had a bathtub the other just a shower. The bathroom could not be locked on one of them .Neither one had a bathroom fan/exhaust system. The views were mediocre at best, although you could see the water if you tried . Beds were comfortable. The fitness room was subpar. A drinking fountain but no cups . The elliptical was so noisy I couldn't use it for fear of annoying the other guests. Not much in the way of weight machines.I think it was just another quest room converted into a fitness room. Pussers restaurant on the waterfront attached to the hotel was a definite plus. The front dest was the real problem. Not only did they mess up our reservation but they showed no enthusiasm or any semblance of customer service. When asked questions, they would mention that they do not have a concierge but were quick to give you a phone number to call. The bellmen were very helpful, perhaps they could train the front desk! Definitely not worth 400 plus $ per night!

We stayed here for a 1 night trip to see Annapolis. We were very pleased, check in and staff were great, a bellman gave us very good tips about where to eat and what to see. The view from our room of the yacht harbor was beautiful, and the location can't be beat.

Staff was great. Nice hotel and great location!!! Views are nice and Pussers restaurant attached had good food and great view. Pic below is from my room. Some rooms have a balcony. And don't miss a chance to go sailing on the woodwind which is behind the hotel.

Arrived on a Friday afternoon and was greeted with warm hospitality by the Hotel Staff. The room was clean and spacious with a great view and wonderful amenities including a comfortable bed. If you don't want to walk to nearby attractions, the Hotel can arrange for a comfortable black Lincoln Continental driven by Saab at a reasonable fee. Sunday Brunch was delicious as we sat on the outside deck enjoying the sunshine. The Water Taxi is a nice experience. The staff was very accommodating. Upon checking out on Monday, we had the pleasure of meeting John, the new GM on his first day on the job! most enjoyable weekend!!!

We have been coming here for 5 years and now the service and maintenance has totally deteriorated. Room service is after 2PM Bathroom sink is partially stuffed and the pop-up doesn't work. The toilet seat is loose. One of the outdoor cushions is stained and I'm afraid someone sat on it without clothing on. The security lock on the doorframe is loose. The location is wonderful but this is no longer a first class hotel

Our room was very nice and clean, with a good view of the city. The staff was friendly and warm, and the bar was lively t say the least. It's a great location to walk your way around Annapolis and the waterfront.

This hotel has a great location to explore downtown Annapolis. It was also clean and roomy. We had some problems with the tv reception but since we were staying only one night we didn't try to get it fixed. We also had an excellent breakfast the next morning. We sat out on the back deck and watched the boats in the harbor. The sun was hot but we loved the view.

Let's start with the positive about this hotel: it's location is perfect and if you book one of the water facing rooms you get a view that very few hotels in Annapolis can actually offer. So if you are prepared to dish out extra dollars just for a great view by all means - go for it. Unfortunately the rest of the hotel did not meet our expectations. As we arrived a bit early we stored our luggage and checked in a bit later. Even after giving our luggage tag to the porter we waited nearly 30 minutes for our luggage to be brought up to our room. The room itself is quite spacious (but with a tiny bathroom) and I have to say the beds are very comfortable. The furniture however needs to be updated quite urgently (especially the tv cabinet). The bar fridge also had a terrible humming noise which forced us to switch it of at night time. But my biggest complaint about this hotel is about their housekeeping. It is not that the staff don't do their jobs it is that I think they are SERIOUSLY understaffed. Cleaning begins quite early in the mornings and the cleaning carts are blocking the hallways almost continuously throughout the day. We even came back to the room one day around 3:30pm to find that our room had not yet been serviced. This continues throughout - if you step out of the elevator into the lobby you are greeted by a vacuum cleaner that someone left there and the area never looks completely clean. Tile floors didn't sparkle and dust and rubbish met us at the stand where the porters/valets are situated. None of this is something you expect to find at a hotel in this price range. In conclusion - not terrible but we will not stay here again.

Stayed at this Waterfront Hotel because it was well advertised as close to downtown Annapolis and by the water. I appreciated the location as we didn't have to search for parking when we visited the Naval Academy or when walking around the town. HOWEVER, beyond being in a walking distance location there is not much more I could say about the hotel. Basic clean hotel with clean bathroom and beds. Beyond sleeping there wasn't much more at the hotel. For the price we paid I'd assume they would offer waters, or even have a water dispenser with cups in lobby for guests, and a concierge (would have been nice to access). The downtown was easily walked through by us with 4 teenage children in a matter of an hour. There was no place at the hotel to sit back and relax by the water. Yes there was a restaurant and bar in the back but being that we stayed as a family and wasn't ideal to be sitting at a table or the bar, for the two nights we stayed. The hotel is what it is....basic place to sleep that is clean. But you can pay a more reasonable price at another hotel for Basic accommodations.
