This hotel has probably be a good hotel years ago but it is too old now. The heating system is obsolete and very very noisy...which is an issue during the night. It is so old that it leaked in my room and the carpet was all wet during 2 days... to dry it they put an additionnal fan inside my room !!! Breakfast is not great neither. Not so much choice. And 2 training machines among 4 were broken all week in the fitness room... Not a great experience at all !

Very accommodating for a large group, there were 27 of us in town to play Clemson in men's soccer. Breakfast was incredible and Gerri and the staff do an amazing job providing delicious food and service. Fitness center was decent with free weights and a few treadmills and exercise bikes. The pool is super nice especially considering it was late October. Quiet hotel with plenty of restaurants nearby should you wish to dine out. Only about 20-30 mins from Clemson so great location. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for their help! Cookies at the front desk were an awesome touch!

Stayed the week for a business trip. This is not my first time at this hotel. Upon arrival Sunday night was given a dirty room. The towels were laid out and bed was made but the floors and walls of bathroom were filthy and had hair from last guest in the room. Then checked the bed sheets which also had some hair. I got checked into a different, cleaner room without any problems. If this was all that happened this week I would not bother leaving a review, in fact if this was all that had happened I would not mind staying at this hotel again either as these things tend to happen. The second day I left the do not clean sign in my door key slot. When I returned to my room I noticed an electronic item and its charging case (both of which were in two different locations in my bedroom) missing from my belongings. I searched the room, I searched my personal belongings, I even invited the night manager to assist me in my search. (By the way, the night manager, John, was one of the only polite individuals throughout this entire exchange) he notified the management team and they "tried" to investigate the problem by asking housekeeping if anyone has seen this. I asked for an electronic key log of people coming and going and they do not have this system in place. I must admit that it is my own fault for not properly hiding my electronics, thinking that a do not clean sign would suffice to tell someone to not enter my room- which by the way, another member of the management team was quick to assure me that housekeeping are told not to enter into rooms with do not disturb signs. Gee. Thanks. Overall, I will do a better job of protecting my valuables, but i haven't decided if I should go back to this hotel let alone this hotel chain. The entire experience leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.

Holiday inn express 3509 Clemson Blvd. Great hotel experience except i was quoted a rate then as per this hotels pricing the rate increased each day. My company has instructed me to stay elsewhere for my next 2 stays in Anderson

Started really great the girl at the front desk saved me and bailed me out from my very horrible experiences at quality inn across the street. The two stars are completely for the girl that saved me on Friday. I would give 5 stars, I would give that girl five stars easy, great customer service very professional very polite two thumbs up. But then came night three, the night shift manager managed to lock my family in the pool area at 2140 when the pool was supposed to close at 2200. He did not look around to see if anyone was in there he just locked the gate there by expecting my family to climb a concrete wall to get out of the pool area and to get to the emergency phone that was on the outside of the concrete wall. When I informed the manager that he had locked my family in the pool area he seemed perturbed and disgruntled because I had interrupted his dinner at 2140 when the pool officially closes at 2200. When I return to my room at 2230 I noticed the air conditioner was not working I called the desk to report the issue and then I plugged in a bunch of wires that I found under a table and the air conditioner came on. When the same night shift manager came in my room that locked my family in the pool area he looked at the jumble of wires said yes that's the problem and then he walked out leaving the door open. Here I sit 25 minutes later not hearing anything back from the night shift manager and wondering if I should unplug the wires because the place may burn down? Today is Monday 28AUG2017.

What a pleasant surprise..One of the best hotels I've been in for a while. They let me get an early check in when I arrived a little early. The restaurant was only serving Lasagna an I couldn't eat so they let me just get a Caesar salad from the buffet and didn't even charge me. The bar is lively and the bartender ANGEL lives up to her name. Front check in was easy and fast. Room service was really good. It probably was one of the friendliest hotels I have been to in recent memory. Thanks to everyone there I saw the eclipse with a lot of fun guests

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Gerri in restaurant was excellent. She made you feel like you were the most important people there. Beds are very comfy and pillows were great. We'll be staying there every time we go back to Anderson.

The appearance of the hotel was very nice. They offered a breakfast buffet for $9.99 from 8-10. We arrived late that night, it was quite and they had an available room. However, it probably wouldn't be my first choice if I was in town again.

Hotel staff were friendly but the accommodations were pretty bad. I requested a microwave when I booked the room. They put me in a room with no microwave and then had the maintenance man bring a microwave to my room. He had to put the microwave on the desk sideways because it was the only working outlet. Even the outlet by the bed didnt work. You can see from the photos that the furniture is very worn down and I was concerned the shower rod was going to come out of the wall. I won't stay there again.

We found this location to be fine, but there was nothing to distinguish it in either a good or bad way. No real complaints--though I did notice that the elevator floors were a bit dirty. Room was clean, and the hallways were quiet. We chose to eat breakfast elsewhere in part because of the price, but the breakfast food we saw looked little better than the free breakfast at a Holiday Inn Express. One turnoff--while the hotel is a nonsmoking hotel, all the smokers were gathered outside the front door of the hotel so you had to walk through a fog of smoke to get into the lobby.
