Wonderful location in the center of the historic district.

Very nice room and staff.

There is a live band nearby that will keep you awake until at least 3AM.

Great atmosphere!!

Very beautiful hotel. Gorgeous lobby with 2nd level balcony overlooking lobby. Very glad we detoured here on our way to Florida.

Great location. Beautiful piece of history.

Wonderful historic hotel in a quaint downtown setting. So worth getting off the beaten path for!

I loved staying at this hotel with my cousins s for our monthly girls trip. We enjoyed the hotel amenities of the restaurant and bar Saturday night bc most things in town closed early. Great location an parking was easy!

Very friendly staff. Beautiful property.

Great property and have stayed here many times. The area doesn't offer much within walking distance, but the hotel itself is worth it.

We liked the historical property. Our room was very nice. Great location to historical downtown. A very nice place to stay. We went to nearby Andersonville. Highly recommend.

A beautiful historic hotel. Great service and wonderful food in the Pub and Dining Room

It had a lot of nostalgia about it. The staff was very friendly too!

We liked the history and uniqueness of the hotel.

Very old (historic) property with lots of charm but be prepared to wait a lot as it’s a understaffed. We waited ten minutes at the front desk to check in because the one person working at 5pm was busy somewhere else in the hotel. When they eventually showed up they didn’t explain or apologize but acted like it’s normal to have nobody at the front desk for large periods of time and guests just have to deal with it. We stayed two nights but they have a policy you must check in each day. So after our first night we had to go back to the front desk to “check in” to the room we were in already. Other than that and a leaky toilet the stay was okay.

I have stayed here before and really enjoyed it, but was disappointed this time. Check-in was slow, unfriendly, and no one was at the front desk for quite some time initially. Sadly when she did check us in, we got a crap room. Really noisy, right next to the service entrance to the bar. Only view was an brick wall 1ft away and a dirty alley. And it was directly over the dumpster which was loudly opened and closed all night. With the hotel clearly not at capacity and us traveling with a kid who would be trying to get to sleep early, and considering we booked a couple of months ago, it just felt like a really lousy room choice. Lastly the restaurant was not open. I understand that COVID has changed things. But the bar was open, and the restaurant was actually a bigger space and easier to social distance. In general I feel like hotels have used COVID as an excuse to stop providing amenities like breakfast, pools, etc in a way that doesn't really line up with what they are charging. Overall it was a beautiful building, and that is a great area to explore. Also the waitstaff was really nice. But I am not sure I will stay again as I was disappointed with the service of the front desk and with the overall amenities.

Very historic property, with great food and beverage available on site

The property itself is old and historic. For being of such age, it is in great condition not to mention beautiful. The staff was pleasant and facilities were well maintained. Our overall experience, not so pleasant. Due to COVID, they no longer serve breakfast. I understand a buffet but no reason grab and go items couldn't be provided especially when breakfast is included in the price paid. They offer going across the street to a little place but it doesn't open til 8am and closed on Sundays. Not to mention, it only has a couple menu items. We made a reservation at the pub on site and was told it was kid friendly. Bullsh*t. I was told by 3 staff members it is because they allow kids inside. No kid menu, no kid drinks, etc... It was late, we were hungry, had a reservation, just to get there and find out they didn't have any food for kids. Also loved how our app came out WITH our dinner instead of before. The electric outlets in the room are shot to sh*t, our chargers, etc wouldn't stay plugged in. Fire hazard, no big deal. Thank God we spent extra money on the chamber suite, rooms are TINY. It is an old hotel though so I understand. The iron in our room was broken, my husband went down to the front desk to ask for another. They never brought one up to us as he was told. When i made mention at the desk at check out, the woman said she told my husband to go find housekeeping and ask. 1. She never said that. 2. Not my husband's job to wonder around to find housekeeping.
