Full of Nature, eco-friendly, Wild life, excellent customer service, family oriented place. If you want a real beach feeling, this the place

Beach location was great! The property maintenance. Door lock was a constant struggle. I heard other people taking about a similar issue. It could take 10 tries for the lock to actually open. ! of 2 mattresses had a deep dent that reminded me of an "I Love Lucy" episode. Also, It didn't really bother me, but be prepared to walk - a lot! There are shuttles that can get you part of the way.

My first resort experience, expected better selection of booze.

Their is always something to do. Many resorts linked

Very nice, clean, great food, nice staff. Very clean beaches

Not the same as other Grand Bahia Hotels we have been in. They transferred us during our stay to a smaller room next to big air conditioning unit. Then transferred us again to another room with no working phone and bathroom towels set up for only 2 people. We had asked to repair the phone which was never done and had to go to lobby few times to ask for towels for our third person and extra bed. Taxi from this hotel to airport .... $104.00 USD which is insane !!!!!! Staff doesn't always care. We are not planning on going there again. Not a very good experience, but we went to other Grand Bahia hotels in Dominican Republic and Jamaica which were much much better. Never again for this location !

Friendly staff, lots of activities for the entire family. Great shows every night.

hotel and grounds were very nice. room was nice except the AC unit was struggling to keep the room comfortable..... food was pretty darn good for all inclusive fare......the reservation system for the ala cart restaurants was annoying and outdated....you are supposed to use an ap but if you dont PAY for the "premium WIFI" the ap only works in the hotel lobby....except it doesn't work...save yourself the headache and just do it in guest services........second to last night the power to the resort (possibly just our side) went out for a few hours causing the air conditioning to stop working......they got it working a few hours later but we were up until 3-4am trying not to suffocate in the room. The swimming beaches were man made (they put giant sand bags where the waves break and then roped off the swimming areas). This was kind of annoying to me because i am a big kid and like to play around in the waves / body surf. sea weed was an unending problem but the hotel is def doing everything they can to deal with it.......they were working non stop to rake it up and get it out of the swimming areas......it didnt really ruin anything for me. One thing that irked me was that the a la cart restaurants were sweltering inside.....granted i was a little sunburned.....it was def hot in the 2 restaurants we went to.....sweating thru your shirt at dinner is pretty not fun. All in all the price could not be beat......i enjoyed it and i would go back...just get to the pool / beach early

best place and friendly people good food clean place good activities

Not sure if it is a management issue, but for an all inclusive the food was a bit too repetitive (last night's fish is todays lunch), and ALL mixed cocktails had a "sweetener" added to them. Seriously we watched the waiters to figure it out. You will see them pour the same "something" in a mojito, margarita, sea breeze, daquiri, pina colada, etc. And you can taste the extra sweet in your drink. The only time we got a drink that tasted "normal" and they did not add what we called the "drink extender" was a gin and tonic or vodka and tonic. Our first room (superior room) had plumbing issues so they moved us to another room. Our new room's shower glass wall did not structurally stop water so the floor would get soaked every time you used the shower. Getting reservations at some of the restaurants was ridiculous. We would of needed to make the reservations BEFORE we even arrived to get into the best ones at decent times. And EVERYONE saves a lounge chair by breakfast time so good luck with that too. Pricing is very competitive here but not worth it if you are just a couple. Families yes, couples no. Pay a bit more and find a different hotel.

Great hotel, very big, friendly staff. Lots of restaurants to choose from, 8 pools.

Too big too noisy beach is awful and too dangerous to swim Never again

My best friend and I went for spring break and had an incredible time! There is good mix of activities and the people and staff are very friendly.

After been to other all inclusive resorts this one was different in respect to overall appearance. It needed a “polish”. Tough finding beach chairs since everyone saves their seats at 5am in the morning. The alcoholic drinks had some sort of added sweetener to all of them. It tasted funky so we were left to drink just vodka or gin and tonics. We had drinks off site and did not experience the same taste. Food was good and fresh

The property itself is beautiful and very well kept. The rooms are a good size, very clean, no repairs needed. No ocean view at the majority of the rooms. And the “stocked mini bar” only means they put sodas and beer in a refrigerator for you. You can also get some chips (a couple tiny bags) if you find the room sticker at the right time. The major problem with this property is that it is really spread out. So be prepared to do a lot of walking. They have trams but they dont come reliably so you can’t count on them. The hotel did offer us a room closer to main “center” but it was in a building that stared directly into another building and we wanted at least a tiny amount of privacy. Also, the buffet was fairly good but often the food would run out and you’d never see a replacement tray arrive. One day I waited 20 minutes for churros that never did show up. All the juice drinks at the hotel also tasted like they had fake sugar added to them so there wasn’t a good fresh drink to be found. All in all, we feel like this is about you get what you pay for. It would be worth it to pay extra to get better management and not deal with the many frustrations.

Very beautiful location and facilities however the food was not good at the buffet. The meals I had the restaurants was delicious but I was only allowed to go there twice. The air in the room was a hit and miss and the tv was broken. Some of the staff was friendly while others were rude. The drinks at the bar were not the best. On a positive note the location was beautiful and I enjoyed laying in the beach or lounging in the ocean.

This place is awesome, my family and I had a great time.

Entertainment staff very engaging, buffet was good, would have liked a little more variety.... Beach had a lot of seaweed even though staff were always cleaning it.... If you go try to find Carlos ( one of the drivers) we found him on our last night... He was amazing, so friendly, singing and laughing with us... Wish we found him in the beginning...

I like that there are trolley rides back and forth between the different resorts as well as the different sites within the properties. What I didn't like was that if you like to relax and sleep in a bit on your vacation, there isn't an option for breakfast after 10:30. The only food available from 10:30-12:30 is hamburgers, hot dogs and french fries at the snack tent. I was under impressed with the a la carte meals. The drinks (cocktails) have gone downhill since we stayed there 3 years ago. DIdn't like that our cups and glasses were just wiped down with tap water and a towel. I never did see any of the housekeeping carts have trays of clean glasses and cups to replace those of rooms now being occupied by different guests!!! I didn't like that i fell in the pool bathroom even though I had on rubber soled shoes. Very slippery and quite a black eye! Was asked for my email so I could be reached by the manager, but that was over a week ago.
