We loved this place. The lobby is so cute and artsy! Very clean. One block from the metro. Best little coffee shop across the street. Staff was super nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend!!

This hotel is only a block from the NoMa Gallaudet U metro station. This wag important to me as I use the metro for transport. The rooms are small and intelligently designed. I enjoyed the pop culture, hipster vibe. Taryn and Anthony were amazing. They worked at the desk and as bartenders. Although the location is convenient for transportation, I don't think I would feel comfortable walking in the neighborhood alone at night. The room was great for one person. I imagine it would be cramped with two. I like that everything can be controlled with the provided tablet - lights, TV, alarm, mood.... The tablet was a bit slow, but the tech was fun to use. I love the LauraStar iron in the ironing room. Unfortunately the metal cover wouldn't stay on, but I was able to make it work.

I loved the choices on your breakfast buffet! I was amused by the hotel's ethos, in the lobby and in my room. Small for sure, but had everything I needed as one person in the room. But, I must admit that I was quite baffled by the controls for lighting and curtains/blinds. And once I actually had to call the house staff to turn off the shower. So, really cute and a nice, helpful staff but I'm not sure I'd book again.
