Pro - convenient to the Ryogoku Station Con - OMG THOSE ELEVATORS ARE NOT GOOD. it took us forever to get to our room with one functioning elevator.. eventho they had like 6 of them. There was always a line when we arrived. About maybe 30 to 40 people in line at a time. They had on their TV's that they had high volume but that wasn't what delayed those elevators. It's the fact that they didn't put them all to work. Also... We decided to stay one more night in Tokyo, and instead of extending our stay and letting us keep our room that we had for a couple of days.. I had to check out and check back in, only to end up on a higher floor with a smelly bathroom and harder bed. The beds were too firm for me. I woke up with back pains every night. One instance.... I left my room without my key... The cleaning girl saw I came out of that room and refused to open it for me even tho she saw me get out of that room. I had to go all the way downstairs for another key. To me that was petty. Can we talk about the excessive towel use? I'm used to using the same towel for more than one shower. I'll do two days max... But omg. We missed a day and we had piles and piles of towels unused. The cleaning people would leave bags of towels for us to use daily... And it was just excessive.
Great value and convenient to main sites around Tokyo.
The room was a tight fit, laundry was a bit difficult get an opening. Walking to the station was great, plenty of food and stores around to meet needs. Staff was very accommodating, Overall great stay
The hotel is itself like a city--it's huge, with a spa, convenience store, restaurant, fitness center, etc. You'll see lots of guests from all over the world. Expect long waits for the elevators. Very convenient--close to two metro stations, both called Ryogoku. It's a sleepy little commuter neighborhood, so if you're looking for somewhere where you can walk out your door and find exciting nightlife or major tourist attractions, this isn't it. But the hotel is comfortable, convenient to transit, has good amenities and nice views of the city across the river.
The overall experience was average. It was quite hectic to check in and check out. Compared to other area, there’s not much to do, one good thing is that it’s pretty close to the train station.
Above and beyond my expectations
spa and breakfast
The room had not much space and the bathroom was tight. Overall had a good stay.
Nice clean hotel. Close to transportation and shopping. Would stay here again.
Beautiful place great staff, affordable.
Enjoyed the stay. Pretty tiny rooms but comfy beds
The location was perfect being only a 3-5 minute walk to the closet train station. Also having a spa and restaurant in the hotel was perfect in lazier days
Rooms are small but very efficient-green.
Great breakfast. Not enough elevators. Refrigerator outlet didn't work
Very good hotel option.
1) trash outside my hotel room 2) bathroom always have smell 3) only 1 bottle of water for 7 nights stay 4) laundromat: staffs took out my clothes from the washing machine when there was few empty machines 5) smell cigarettes around my room
We enjoyed the property and was easy to access
This hotel resort has a lot offer. It is only a few mins walk from the JR yellow line ((easy to transfer to the green JR circle line that gets to most popular attractions.) I like the 2 separate spa/ hot spring for male & female (so there is not a limited share /time to use it ) I also paid for the breakfast buffet, very worth it . it is a very good amount of choices . The varieties was
