Went for our anniversary trip. Other hotels were wildly expensive to be on the water. While not anything fancy, this place was priced better than others and enjoyed a view from any room. The hotel was dated, but kept clean and fresh as possible. Most hotels on the beach front have a musty odor and lots of mold. Not here. This place smelled good, no mold or roaches, and floor was not wet (iykyk). The area was quiet and close to a Publix and a few restaurants. We didn't feel unsafe in the least.
Only a couple of issues that weren't much of issues. The ice machine is on the ground floor. Only one, and not a huge deal. The showerhead was leaking while on...hard to explain but not a big issue. The room has limited plug outlets that are accessible to plug in cellphones, especially if you have a CPAP machine or air purifier like we did (we use it due to my husbands allergies). But having these things plugged in, meant we had to unplug the lamps that were on the tables, or only use the outlets on the desk, several feet away from the bed. But that also is not a big deal, just wished we'd known about it to bring a plug multiplier.
Overall, wonderful stay at a lovely, quiet, little hotel. Husband and I both agree that when we want to stay on the beach, we will be staying here, as long as the place keeps it's great staff and style.
