They need to get new housekeepers, fix the cable/TV's in the rooms, the cable doesnt work all the time because the wires are junk, I got moved to three different rooms. In the last room, some of the channels worked. and the phone did not work.
The property is fine. The booking , reservation & property insurance protection was a disaster.
Too bad no breakfast. The tub was chipped and gross looking.
Older property not well maintained. 2 stories, no elevator. No coffee upon arrival. 1 working ice machine on first floor. They should pay you to stay here.

Free airport shuttle was much appreciated. Front desk staff pleasant and capable. Staff member quickly brought replacement TV remote when first one wasn't working.
Was surprised by several things when I arrived. They do not tell you that it costs $10/day for parking in the lot. The bathroom had no exhaust fan, and neighboring room shared hot water, so when youre in the shower and the neighbor turns their hot water on yours gets colder. We stayed for 4 nights and during that time housekeeping never cleaned the room, turned down the bedding OR gave us clean towels. On the plus side, the fee oarking pribably saved us from having our car stolen, since its portland, oregon.
I needed a hotel close to the airport, and offering an airport shuttle. Red Lion exceeded my expectations. The location was convenient, with plenty of food options nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. There was even coffee available in the lobby despite our extremely early departure. Getting to the airport was a breeze. This was a really enjoyable stay and I will be sure to return if I have the chance. Thank you!

They are (finally) remodeling some rooms, so there is a bit of a mess in places, but other than that this may have been the best stay I've had there! Considering the ice everywhere in Portland, this was not at all bad. Staff was very helpful, and the shuttle to the airport is convenient. I'll be back!
