Excellent stay in a beautiful old world hotel
Great stay at this old English hotel in a beautiful neighborhood very near to Paddington station. Bed was comfortable, linens were beautiful. Loved the vibe of the little restaurant downstairs. Very friendly staff. Would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip.

Lovely hotel close to Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park
A lovely quiet hotel, close to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The staff are very welcoming, pleasant and attentive. The room we had was compact, but had everything we wanted. The breakfast was very good, not buffet - everything was brought to you. Although advertised as five stars, I don’t think it was quite up to that standard, but overall very good.

Our stay was marred by several unacceptable issues. The presence of mold in the bathroom was deeply concerning, and the subpar breakfast, notably the undercooked eggs, fell short of expectations. The situation with the elevator, including a distressing incident and subsequent noise disruption, was exacerbated by the staff's initial inappropriate response, though they later admitted to ongoing elevator problems. Although we were eventually moved to a suite, it doesn't excuse renting out substandard rooms or floors with known issues. Additionally, the refusal to reimburse for an unsatisfactory breakfast service was disappointing, especially for a hotel purporting to be of four-star caliber, a rating that, in our experience, seems overstated. The hotel's failure to meet basic standards and address guest concerns promptly and adequately is alarming and suggests a significant gap between advertised quality and actual service.

Wonderful stay at Roseate hotel in London. It is just across from paddington station so very easy access to heathrow express. Hotel was very comfortable, beautiful room and bathroom. Lovely breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff, would definitely stay again.
