I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations. It's perfectly located right next to the Sphere (General Admission entrance).
The rooms at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations are like mini apartments. There is a full kitchen, nice living room space, a separate bedroom with sliding door for privacy, garden tub in the bath, separate toilet area/room, and a large closet. A bonus was the patio/balcony. Each section of buildings had their own pool.
I had requested a room as close to the Sphere as possible, and mentioned that I had mobility issues in my reservation notes. When we arrived, they had me the furthest building on the 3rd floor [NO ELEVATOR]. The attendant at the counter moved me into a building that wasn't as close, but on the first floor. I'm thankful for that because I would've had to check out immediately as I would not be able to do the third floor with no elevator.
Warning, they will try to get you to do a 90-minute presentation for a "gift offering". You can choose to do that if you want, but they're trying to get you to buy a time-share.
As for the room, it was really a great room. The A/C confused us because it kept turning off and resetting to 82. Cell service goes out on their property and the wifi is not secure. Otherwise, I would recommend the Holiday Inn Club Vacations. It's a great value and located near choice resorts and venues on the Strip.
