Mitsui Garden has never fail to impressed me. I stayed at Mitsui Garden hotel in Tokyo many times and this is my first time to stay at Mitsui Garden in Kyoto. We are very looking forward to the breakfast every day! The food is very good, hotel staffs are very professional and friendly. Overall, we had very good experience!

Excellent accommodation
The hotel was conveniently located and we are happy that we stayed here. Staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and relatively spacious in comparison to standard Japan hotel room sizing. The streaming service offered from the television was very thoughtful and nice to have to be able to access through our phones. There is nothing negative to report, but something to note is that laundry service is not offered within the hotel.

This is one of the more modern hotels we stayed at during our trip to Japan. It is conveniently located steps away from the Teramachi shopping area and the excellent Nishiki food market located within. Transportation options are adequate, although getting a cab from the main station to the hotel would probably be a good idea. The breakfast option (extra) is highly recommended -- it really is unlike most -- a high cuisine experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. The public bath is nice and added comfort to our stay. The staff was very helpful. In summary, our family made a good choice.
