Average hotel great location
The Hotel Ithaca is an average hotel in the center of the city. Two key benefits is the location and they do not charge a fee for parking . We stayed in the South tower. That section is in need of a refresher. Paint is peeling, tears in the hallway rugs, furniture dinged up. The bed was firm, almost too firm. Okay for a night or two but more than that you'll need a chiropractor after you leave. All in all our stay was okay. If we could stay at another hotel downtown at the same nightly rate we probably would.

No soap. Short staffed.
When I asked for soap the manager said there was a problem with the order/delivery but if I wanted soap I could walk to the 7/11 and buy some. Seriously? Later tried to order room service and was told they were short staffed so I’d have to come pick it up myself. All not a huge deal (though off putting) but the I saw a review from less than a month ago said the same. This is too bad as the facilities are nice and clean.
