Lots to say. Limited English speak staff. The resort was the only resort with a breaking wall to dampen the waves, allowing you to swim. Beach vendors are annoying. It is a decent mix of relaxing music and party music. One song, "Seven", should not have been played with all the F words ... especially with kids around. Bartenders treated us a little better when we tipped - even once per day. The resort is a little off the beaten path so other than other resorts, there is not much else to see without a ride or tour. The waves are pretty unusual but on the calm days the lifeguard still did not like me swimming to the retaining wall (chest deep water) where the best snorkeling was. Side note: Catalina island was WAY better than Sanona Island. There was only ONE Ala carte that changed the menu daily AND you have to wake up at 6:30am to get in line to make your reservation the same day. That is annoying for a vacation, when you want to sleep in. Decent rooms and clean. NOTE: they have multiple building and some are across the road so make sure you understand where you are booking. It is not a far walk to the buffet and beach but it is note worthy. Food was WAY better than Cuba but nothing I went for seconds of. I struggle with wanting to taste authentic national food vs. food that I love. I did not even like the boiled eggs. Maybe it is the water. The meat seemed gamey. For the money, it was a good resort.

The resort is very clean and staff very friendly. Food was excellent. Beach was beautiful. But they say there are four à la carts but there is only one per day and you have to up at 7 am to wait in line to book each day, not worth it on vacation. The only other complaint is there was no bank exchange on site.

This resort was excellent! I highly recommend it! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. Everything was kept incredibly clean! Beautiful landscaping and grounds. A great vacation for everyone!

We thought the property was beautiful and very clean. The food was fantastic and my husband ( who has a number of allergies) was able to find a nice selection of food as well. The staff was very friendly. We snorkeled right off the beach and seen lots of gorgeous tropical fish. We were slightly disappointed in the entertainment. The music was the same every night and we would have enjoyed it more if they had the kids program followed by the entertainment. They could have danced with the audience after the show. Very minor complaints, i would definitely recommend this resort!!
