Outstanding and lovely Hotel
I booked this for my Parents as it was my Dads 70th Birthday so wanted something for them to experience, they have rarely done something like this. They said the staff were amazing, the food was lovely, the cleanliness and the view were outstanding. Only issue is that we didn’t realise the spa was open to the public making it extremely busy when they wanted to go for a swim. That’s the only negative, I would have preferred a hotel that wasn’t open to the public for them.

Overall decent break but the hotel is a bit dated and not the luxury that was expected. Freindly and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice. Spa was disappointing as it didn't seem clean and was messed around with treatments.

We booked a Business Double room, and it was quite small, with dated furnishings. The bathroom was very cold with a small bath and no towel rail. The bedroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The car park was full when we arrived, but a space became available later. The location was a short walk from the city centre. Not picturesque but adequate. Breakfast was a fairly basic buffet, with a few options. I felt it was overpriced for the quality of room, but maybe that's what to expect in Chester.

We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very helpful with us parking up etc. The business rooms were clean and comfortable but could do with a little update. We used the pool and sauna which was a huge plus for this hotel. The bar area was lovely and relaxing. The only downfall was that the restaurents had stopped serving meals and it was only 8 o Clock, so we had to go out into town to eat. But overall our stay was fabulous and definitely would return.
